In a rather unexpected turn of events, one of the many glitches in Cyberpunk 2077 sees players' private parts, quite literally, popping out of their clothes. Today marks an occasion that has been high on many gamers’ lists as the most anticipated event of 2020 – the long-awaited launch of Cyberpunk 2020.

Cyberpunk 2020 has been hitting headlines since it was first announced, an incredible 8 years ago. Unfortunately for the developers at CD Project Red, this has not always been positive. While the game itself has been praised for its massive open-world map and unique story content, the multiple delays and buggy gameplay have left many with a sour taste in their mouth. Among these bugs, things like the game crashing to a point where the only option is to restart, and invisible walls blocking further progression have been readily commented upon. They are undoubtedly incredibly frustrating for players, especially after such a long wait. However, one particular glitch in Cyberpunk 2077 has presented itself in a much more shocking, but rather amusing, way.

Gamers and streamers have been taken by more than just a little bit by surprise when going into the inventory during their playthroughs of Cyberpunk 2077. Instead of simply equipping their rendition of protagonist V with the latest acquired gadget or outfit and swiftly moving on with the mission at hand, they have instead been greeted with their carefully created avatar proudly presenting their more personal appendages for all to see. Yes, penises and breasts can be seen clipping through V’s clothing in the current release of Cyberpunk 2077, as shared by batmanbusters and ConorFoShaw.

Character customization for male and female characters in Cyberpunk 2077

As amusing as this glitch is, it is unlikely to remain in Cyberpunk 2077 for long. CD Projekt Red has announced that it will be providing a patch to get rid of most of the bugs within the game soon. While the team has not specified this particular bug as being one of the fixes coming up, it is doubtful that it will want this glitch to be in the game for much longer.

It is always good to get things off your chest if it is bothering you, but in this case, Cyberpunk 2077 is perhaps taking it a bit too far. Even with the time and effort spent by players customizing their character, some things really are best kept under wraps…
