Many players in Cyberpunk 2077 have noticed something strange about the children that they have been encountering in there adventures throughout Night City, as one players have noticed that child character models seem to be adult NPCs shrunken down to a childlike size. Among the games many graphical errors, this is definitely one of the most terror-inducing one among them.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been steeped in controversy due to performance issues, primarily on previous-gen consoles. Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 developer, CD Projekt Red, is under fire for seemingly hiding how the game ran on those platforms before the game itself released. CDPR has addressed the issues through multiple statements detailing plans for multiple patches over the coming months, two of which have already been released over the past two weeks. Amongst many hilarious glitches that players have found throughout the game, some have noticed an unnerving sight amongst the children within the game.

Twitter user tanisthelesbiab has posted multiple images showing that various children within the game are in fact adult character models simply shrunken down to a more childlike size. Another Twitter user, UltimaShadowX, made the hilarious connection between these ridiculous in-game kids and the widely popularized meme of a tiny Keanu Reeves onstage at Cyberpunk 2077's E3 2019 presentation, where he famously called an audience member "breathtaking."

The meme, now dubbed "Mini Keanu", has been used all over the internet ever since. Ever creative, this clever Cyberpunk 2077's critic found a way to tie the game's half-baked nature back to a meme that half-heartedly ribbed CDPR and Keanu Reeves before anyone knew just how poorly received the eventual product would be. While the adult-like children unfortunately aren't glitches, they do fall under the same category of visually entertaining hitches that the game is currently best known for, such as t-posing characters and NPCs sitting in invisible chairs.

Cyberpunk 2077 boasts many ambitious gameplay endeavours throughout its massive world of Night City. A wide array of player customization and decent narrative choice have unfortunately been hampered by the game's countless performance issues and bugs. CDPR has stated multiple times that it's hard at work fixing these issues, but, for many players, the damage is done. CDPR will hopefully stay true to its word going forward as it prepare to fight heated legal battles as a result of its media and shareholder deceptions boiling over, but making kids actually look like kids might take longer than most of the game's oddities to address.
