Cyberpunk 2077 has a very deep character creator, so much so players can customize their genitals, but one fan was able to fully recreate an iconic CD Projekt Red character: Ciri. The character made an impression on fans when she debuted in The Witcher 3 as a pivotal character, leading to fans' desires to see more adventures with her. Although this likely isn't exactly what some had in mind, putting a shotgun in her hand via Cyberpunk 2077 certainly isn't the worst alternative.

Ciri has a more official appearance in Cyberpunk 2077 thanks to an Easter egg where she's on the cover of a video game magazine tucked away inside a desk drawer. Still, fans want more and with rumblings of more entries in The Witcher series, it's not hard to imagine she could fill the boots of the protagonist in order to give Geralt a break. Nonetheless, CD Projekt Red has remained coy about her future in upcoming games, so fans are taking it into their own hands.

Reddit user TheOneWithTheBlueHair96 posted a gallery of images featuring their version of Ciri using the Cyberpunk 2077 character creator. The grey-haired Witcher prodigy is incredibly detailed, all the way down to freckles across her face. Given the clothing options in the game, she's given a more modern and punk look to make her fit in with the people of Night City. It's not entirely clear how long it took to perfect these details, but it's a commendable effort.

CD Projekt Red has confirmed The Witcher series will continue on and be developed in parallel with future Cyberpunk games, but it's not clear who will be its protagonist in the former. CD Projekt Red likely won't reveal any details on these next games any time soon, as the studio has already stated it won't be talking about games until they're much closer to release following the disappointing launch of Cyberpunk 2077.

After years of hype, Cyberpunk 2077 released with a number of game-breaking bugs and claims that it was unable to run properly on Xbox One and PS4. It was such a controversy that Sony ended up delisting the game from its own digital store until it was deemed fit for purchase. Roughly 5 months later and the game is still not up to snuff in the eyes of many. Cyberpunk 2077's latest patch fixed many issues, but also caused a lot of others that now need to be addressed. Whether or not CD Projekt Red will have a fast turnaround on more patches remains to be seen, but this Ciri-inspired custom character indicates that many fans just want a reason to continue playing the game.
