With a game like Cyberpunk 2077 that’s filled with all different types of weapons, cyberware upgrades, and vehicles, there are certain ones that deserve hard-earned cash more than others. It’s more beneficial to save eddies than to spend it on items that will become useless as players progress throughout the story. Not only is it important to come to fights prepared, but also pull up to them in style as well.

It’s been well over a year now since the rough launch that Cyberpunk 2077 experienced. Since then, the team over at CD Project Red has made significant improvements to the title, causing their player base to skyrocket once more. While the team is still working on the next-gen versions of the title, players can only hope that DLC will also follow as the year continues, giving Cyberpunk 2077 a second chance in the process.

When it comes to which weapon in Cyberpunk 2077 is worth the player’s money, each type has its own usefulness in certain scenarios. The three types of weapons are power guns, which act just as regular guns doing large amounts of damage; smart guns, which automatically lock onto enemies without having to aim; and tech guns that have bullets that can ricochet off walls, penetrate cover, and be charged. Which weapon is best for the player all depends on how they like to approach firefights, whether that’d be close combat or shooting from a distance, making the gameplay unique for each person.

Cyberpunk 2077's Most Expensive Weapons and Cars

Cyberpunk 2077 Vi Fighting Enemies

Aside from the unique weapons in Cyberpunk 2077, there are plenty of other weapons that can be bought with eddies. A good sniper rifle to purchase is the Nekomata, which costs €$203,902 and does high damage since it’s also a tech rifle that can be charged up. The defender is a power light machine gun that costs €$178,019 and tears up enemies in an instant with its high rate of fire. A smart assault rifle that is a must-have in Cyberpunk 2077 is the D5 Sidewinder, costing player’s €$149,747 and locking on to each individual enemy obliterating them in the process.

While something being expensive usually means better quality, that doesn’t appear to be the case here. However, in order to afford these weapons, players will have to earn a lot of money in Cyberpunk 2077. One of the most expensive guns is a smart sniper rifle called The Ashura which costs €$249,429, which is outrageous since there are other rifles in the game such as the Overwatch rifle which outperforms in damage output. The most expensive shotgun in the game is the L-69 Zhuo costing €$221,990, and since it’s a smart shotgun it works perfectly for clearing out a crowd of enemies. However, it doesn’t compete with others due to the low damage it deals out.

In regards to vehicles, the fastest car in the game is the Rayfield Caliburn, peaking at a speed of 211mph, costing €$157,000. Even though some feel that owning fast cars in Cyberpunk 2077 is worthless, it’s still nice to have the option. If players want a vehicle that fits more of the nomad aesthetic, then the Quadra Type-66 “Javelina” is perfect costing €$73,000, while hitting 189mph. The most expensive car in the game is the Rayfield Aerondight S9 “Guinevere”, costing a hefty amount of €$225,000, maxing out at a speed of 190mph.

What Cyberware to buy in Cyberpunk 2077 is completely up to the player. Whether the approach is to purchase mantis blades to slash up enemies at high speeds, subdermal armor that gives Vi more armor while in combat, or reinforced tendons to gain the ability to double jump, it all falls back to the playstyle of the character. Cyberpunk 2077 is currently in its redemption arc, so whether a player is new or returning to the title, there are plenty of options to spend your money on.
