Difficult 2D platformers seem like they will never truly go out of style, and Cyber Shadow seems like it is pretty definitive proof of that. Players take control of a ninja and must fight their way through a massive number of enemies and avoid all kinds of environmental dangers. On top of this players will also be able to obtain different upgrades for their character as well as numerous special weapons for fighting their foes.

The most important reason to get stronger and better at the game though is in order to bring down each of the game's bosses. Bosses will test the player's skills completely as they will need to take everything that they have learned so far and apply it in the middle of combat. One of the more interesting fights that the player will have to do is the mid-level boss of Chapter 4 MekaDragon. This guide shows players how to bring down this mechanical monster.

Cyber Shadow - How to Defeat MekaDragon

Cyber Shadow Trailer

The issue with facing off against the MekaDragon is that this enemy has a specific weak point that the player will need to hit in order to cause damage to it. Obviously, the boss won't want this to happen, so there are only specific openings for the player to hit this point. For most of this fight, the player will instead be avoiding the MekaDragon's attacks by leaping across the platforms that are floating on the water.

One of the first things that the player will need to do is wait for the boss to pop out of the water and open its mouth. Here the player will see the big glowing weak point in the robot's mouth that they will need to shoot. The boss will also be firing fireballs at the player that they will need to duck under before counterattacking. After this attack, the boss will then start zooming up and down across the screen to destroy all of the platforms. The player will just need to sprint away to avoid these attacks.

The boss will then seem like it is about to shoot fireballs again, but will instead electrify the water. The player will need to be on top of the platforms to avoid damage, and the player will have free reign to attack it until it goes underwater again. From here its attack pattern will repeat, so the player will need to keep going until they bring the MekaDragon down.
