An outtake from Curb Your Enthusiasm shows Larry David doing a real spittake in a scene. The HBO comedy is created by and stars David as a fictionalized version of himself, the successful co-creator of Seinfeld and a curmudgeon who is not afraid to speak his mind. The show also stars Garlin, Susie Essman, J.B. Smoove, Ted Danson, Cheryl Hines, and Richard Lewis, and explores the minuscule social conventions through the eyes of David's character. The series has increasingly become popular among fans, while also receiving critical acclaim and garnering numerous awards and nominations for David and the show.

While Curb Your Enthusiasm has received much praise for the story structure of its episodes and seasons, the development of the show is unlike any other comedy series in that there is no scripted dialogue. The plot of each episode of the series is meticulously outlined by David, with the actors on the show improvising the scenes. Due to the lack of a script and no required dialogue, the actors are able to say anything that comes to their mind that is related to the outline of the scene, which can lead to many classic moments and funny bloopers during filming.

Richard Lewis has now posted a blooper clip on Twitter from the latest season of Curb Your Enthusiasm in which David spits out his water while filming a scene. The take comes from the episode where Jon Hamm guest stars as himself doing research for a character, based on Larry David, that he will be playing in an upcoming movie and hence, follows David around for the day. The outtake where David breaks character can be viewed below:

David has been known to consistently laugh during takes as shown in previous blooper reels of the series. That makes sense as he does not know what the other actors will say in a take or if they say something that is so hysterical that it has to be put in the show without any breaks. On the series, Richard Lewis is frequently known for his constant bickering with Larry David as well as his many romantic relationships that Larry inadvertently ruins, which can also lead to hilarious outtakes.

Curb Your Enthusiasm has been airing for almost two decades and is considered one of the most iconic and funniest comedies on television. The show was renewed for an eleventh season not long after the tenth season finished airing and will bring back the original cast, including Lewis, after there were uncertainties of whether he will be a part of the season due to health issues. With more seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm coming soon, there will certainly be many comical outtakes from the production and more of Larry David's hilarious cackles.
