For those hoping to cross the Desert Near Nanohana in One Piece Odyssey, the Ravine of No Return presents a challenge. Players will have to cross the desert as part of the main story mission in Chapter 2, which is about the country of Alabasta. If players want to Relatdefeat Crocodile, they first have to conquer the desert.

One Piece Odyssey has a compelling story that follows the basic narrative of the franchise. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hats have ended up on the Island of Waford, where the new character Lim has taken most of their powers and memories. The rest of the story has the Straw Hats exploring the Island and their memories in order to regain their abilities and leave the Island.

Luffy Crossing the Desert Near Nanohana in One Piece Odyssey

Crossing the desert might be a harder task than players expect. Alone, the Straw Hats will not find it easy to pass through the Ravine of No Return. As players approach it, an NPC will warn them that it is perilous and that they need a Navi Bird to help them navigate. One wrong turn can boot players back to the start of the Ravine, and getting lost for too long can increase the time to beat One Piece Odyssey.

This can be frustrating for many players. However, there are two main ways to get through the Ravine of No Return. The first is to do what the NPC suggested, which is to find a Navi bird. There is a bird on a post near the exit of Nanohana, who will give the players the Hungry Navi Bird Quest.

To complete this quest, go back to Nanohana and start collecting Desert Nuts. These are often hanging off the sides of buildings. Usopp can knock these down with his ability, and he can then simply pick them up where they have fallen. Look near balconies and porches, as they are often hanging above these. Once Usopp has collected 10, return to the Navi Bird post. When the party returns to the Ravine of No Return, the Navi Bird will guide the Luffy and the other Straw Hats of One Piece Odyssey out.

For those that do not want to return to Nanohana and collect the Desert Nuts, players can instead choose to navigate it themselves. If the player wishes to do so, simply follow the directions below. Note: There will be forks at each main intersection. The directions refer to which tunnel to take from those intersections.

  • Go right at the first fork (there will be a statue in the middle of this fork)
  • Go right again
  • Go left
  • Go behind the statue and into the tunnel facing the player
  • Take a left
  • Take a right
  • Go up the hill all the way toward the back, running down the path in between the crystals
  • Take a final right (there should be a red main mission marker ahead of the players when they exit the tunnel)

Traversing the desert is the only way to unlock fast travel in One Piece Odyssey, so getting through the Ravine of No Return quickly with these directions will help players navigate the world easier. There are also some collectibles within the Ravine, so once players know the way it might benefit them to wander. Either way, players will now be able to continue the story of Luffy and the gang through One Piece Odyssey.
