The Arrowverse is about to be changed forever with the 5-hour Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover taking place between December and January. As Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, and Black Lightning unite for the biggest adventure of all time, the DC TV universe is about to face its challenge ever. The fate of the Multiverse is at stake and it’s up to the past, present, and future DC TV heroes to take on the villainous Anti-Monitor (LaMonica Garrett.) The crossover has already revealed a ton of exciting things for fans to look forward to including Smallville appearances and Brandon Routh suiting up as his Superman once more.

But there is so much yet to be revealed as the crossover kicks off. With the showrunners going all in for this event, who knows what major DC moments may be in store for viewers. As this will be the most ambitious event for The CW of all time, there’s so much that could happen in Crisis on Infinite Earths. With that said, these are 10 nerd moments we hope to see in the 5-hour event.

Crisis Of Infinite Harrison Wells

Given that the story will be focusing heavily on multiple earths, it’s only natural that fans get at least one scene with Tom Cavanagh playing several versions of himself. Since the Arrowverse will probably have a lot of Harrison post-crossover, this would be the perfect time to see several doppelgangers one last time.

Whether it is the debut of new ones or returning versions, it would be a missed opportunity to not see at least five Harrisons all together at one point. Bonus points will be given if they have 52 versions, to honor that number’s big meaning in DC Comics.

Surprise DC Character Debut in the Arrowverse

The crossover is already set to have a few new characters from the DC Universe debut such as Ryan Choi, Jim Corrigan and more. But just because those have been announced, doesn’t mean that they should be the only ones that are being introduced in the crossover.

With so much still being under wrap, it wouldn’t surprise us if the event somehow introduces a surprise DC hero or villain that could play a bigger role in the Arrowverse’s future.

An Encore Of Smallville’s Theme Song

How amazing was it when Remy Zero’s Save Me made a surprise spot in last year’s Elseworlds crossover? For any hardcore Smallville fan, that theme song was one of the most iconic aspects in the entire series. The fact that the Arrowverse decided to blast that song during the cutaway to the Kent Farm on Earth-38 was meaningful.

With Tom Welling and Erica Durance both returning for the event, including their Kent Farm, it would be wrong if they somehow didn’t include an encore of the theme song when we first see them again on screen.

Surprise Cameo Of Another Smallville Character

Justin Hartley as Green Arrow in Smallville

With Welling and Durance already confirmed as reprising their Smallville roles, could there be more though? Despite Michael Rosenbaum passing on reprising his Lex Luthor, what if there is still a surprise appearance of someone else? One that many fans have wanted to see is Justin Hartley so he can join Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow with his version.

While no announcement has been made about Hartley doing any cameo, it wouldn’t be shocking if TPTB somehow managed to get the actor in for a brief appearance without anyone noticing. That’s what we’re hoping for as this is the perfect time to have Hartley and Amell’s versions of Oliver Queen share the screen.

Referencing The Other Big Justice Leaguers

With Kevin Conroy making his live-action debut as Bruce Wayne, what are the chances that more Justice Leaguers are being referenced? There are still several iconic ones that have not been seen or even referenced. Even if this universe may never see a Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, it would still be neat to hear about their existence out there, just to leave that door open for the future.

Who knows, maybe one day some of those characters will be allowed to join The CW’s massive superhero universe. If that day ever comes, Crisis being used as a way to acknowledge their existence would do wonders.

Danny Elfman’s Batman Score

Batman The Animated Series

If you’re going to have Conroy’s Batman in this crossover, you have to bring on his Batman theme song. It’s highly unlikely that they will play all of Danny Elfman’s iconic score for Conroy’s Dark Knight.

However, don’t put it past Arrowverse composer Blake Neely to somehow work in parts of that iconic theme into his score. Either way, if you hear even a little bit of it during Conroy’s scenes, that would still be incredibly satisfying.

Big Moment With The Arrowverse Women

It’s no secret that one of the Arrowverse’s greatest strengths is all the powerful heroines that exist on these shows. While this crossover is absolutely about the entire universe of heroes, the women should get a moment or two where they get to take the spotlight completely.

If Avengers: Endgame could do it, surely the Crisis crossover must be able to pull it off.

John Williams’ Superman Score

Since Routh’s Superman is back for the crossover, how about a little inclusion of John Williams’ iconic score for the Man of Steel? Similarly to Conroy and Elfman, having Williams’ score be included in some capacity would be a major nerd moment for longtime DC fans.

Whether they grew up with the original Superman films or found them years later, that theme music is too iconic to not be used if Routh’s Superman is in this thing. Even Welling’s version had the Williams score used in the series finale of Smallville so in many ways, having a bit of that score as a cameo would service both these Superman.

Name The Team Justice League

Justice League 2017 logo

Even if they aren’t called by it, the Arrowverse has essentially created its Justice League. There is no reason why The CW’s group of heroes shouldn’t be allowed to call themselves by that name at this point.

After spending eight years establishing this shared universe, we can’t think of a better time than this crossover for them to finally get to dub the team as the Justice League.

Barry And (Any) Clark Race

Flash Superman Race Comic Art

With three Men of Tomorrow present in this crossover, how could we not see a race between at least one Clark Kent and Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen? Even if the Arrowverse may never want to answer the question of who is faster between Barry and Kara (Melissa Benoist), how about they answer it with Flash and Superman at least?

With this crossover being as serious as it is already, once the action is all over, it wouldn’t hurt to have a comedic moment where one Man of Steel and the Scarlet Speedster find out who is the fastest.
