Starting on January 31st, Fortnite Crew subscribers are set to receive a bundle of new and exclusive cosmetics through the new February Fortnite Crew Pack. A subscription service for Fortnite’s most dedicated fans, the Fortnite Crew grants members a set of unique rewards each month. This includes a special new skin and accompanying cosmetics, access to the latest premium Fortnite battle pass, 1,000 V-Bucks for the Fortnite Item Shop, and more. February’s Crew Pack is headlined by a new character whose appearance is very much in line with this season’s eclectic mix of medieval and futuristic themes.Players may already be familiar with Fortnite’s Ageless Champion NPC boss, and with the arrival of Sylvie the master smith in the February Crew Pack, it appears he’s now facing another challenger. Fortnite Crew subscribers can claim Sylvie as an Outfit and play as her character as they journey across the Fortnite island, completing quests and eliminating their opponents.
Aside from adding Sylvie to their Fortnite lockers, subscribers can also claim a set of extra rewards.
Everything In February 2023 Fortnite Crew Pack
On top of the rather high-detail Sylvie Outfit, players can also grab a set of cosmetics to complete her character set. This includes Sylvie’s companion Groaker, an adorable miniature fire-breathing dragon. Groaker will accompany players as a Back Bling as they hit the Fortnite island’s best landing spots. In addition, the Groaker Back Bling is reactive, allowing him to claim some bonus cute points as he gives players his full support by burping flames every time they open a chest or score an elimination.
If Groaker isn’t enough, this set also contains Sylvie’s Smith’s Slammers Pickaxe and the Groak’d Wrap, which players can add to weapons and vehicles. The Forging The Future Loading Screen is also included but arrives after the February Crew Pack launches. Epic have also announced some neat cosmetic synergy between Sylvie and the yet-unannounced character headlining March’s Crew Pack. January’s Fortnite Crew Pack, which contains the character Gildhart, also seems to share the medieval-futuristic theme. As such, subscribers who claim both February and March Crew Packs can also enjoy this synergy and claim The Masterwork Pickaxe.
Fortnite Crew subscribers who stick with their subscriptions for several months get an additional bonus reward: the Photonic Legacy Set. This contains the special Photonic Striker Pickaxe, which evolves through six stages, gaining alternative styles and color options. Players who subscribe can unlock the first stage immediately and a stage for every month they’ve subscribed. Essentially, only players who stay subscribed can customize the Photonic Striker Pickaxe.
Finally, February’s Crew Pack also contains the usual extra rewards: access to the premium track of the Fortnite Chapter Four Season One battle pass and 1,000 V-Bucks. It’s worth noting that subscribing to the Fortnite Crew will run players $11.99 (£9.99, €11.99) a month. As such, it may not suit casual Fortnite players, but for those who truly love Epic’s reality-bending battle royale, there’s plenty of value to be had.
