A horror-comedy anthology written by Stephen King and directed by George A. Romero, Creepshow first made its debut in 1982, and returned in 1987 for a sequel. Decades later, The Walking Dead alum and special effects master Greg Nicotero helped bring the classic series back to life.

Each episode has a unique cast complete with famous guest stars renowned for their work in Hollywood, and for many, they are even kings and queens of the horror flick industry.

A Scream Queen known for her iconic work in the original Creepshow, The Fog, and Swamp Thing, Adrienne Barbeau plays homage to her past Creepshow work with her appearance in the season 1 episode 1 segment "Gray Matter".

When a traumatized teen comes to her and the sheriff for help with his drunk of a father, they never expected his out-of-control thirst to be for something of a more human variety.

Kiefer Sutherland

Kiefer Sutherland is best recognized for his work as counter-terrorist Agent Jack Bauer in 24, or as bad boy vampire David in The Lost Boys. He gets the chance to dip back into both worlds with an epic story of survival horror in the Creepshow Animated Special.

A drug dealer's plane crashes and strands him alone on a deserted island, and he is forced to take horrifying measures to keep himself from the brink of starvation.

Anna Camp

A Creepshow Holiday Special puts a Christmassy twist on horror with its ferocious episode starring Adam Pally and Anna Camp. Known for her popular work in Pitch Perfect and HBO's True Blood, Camp is purrfect in the role of Irena Reid.

A therianthrope, Irena runs a "Shapeshifters Anonymous" group for others like her that transform into animals during the full moon and do unspeakable things. Though they may be terrifying, there is someone even worse...Santa Claus.

Giancarlo Esposito

Giancarlo Esposito has a long history of amazing work in Hollywood, partnering with Bong Joon-Ho in Okja and even playing the Magic Mirror AKA Sydney Glass in ABC's hit fantasy drama Once Upon A Time. Not one to leave a franchise unconquered, he also stepped into the Star Wars universe with his role as Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian.

Esposito also lent his name to the very first episode of Creepshow as "Doc", starring alongside Adrienne Barbeau.

Molly Ringwald

Ringwald appears in the season 2 episode "The Right Snuff" which follows two astronauts' rivalry in space.

David Arquette

David Arquette is no stranger to the horror genre. Famous for his work as the lovable but ridiculous Dewey in the Scream movies, he revives his role as a man of the law in a small town in the season 1 episode "Times Is Tough In Musky Holler".

Sheriff Deke is one of many city officials that are about to pay for their unfair ways when they find themselves on the receiving end of their own cruelty.

Josh McDermitt

Josh McDermitt has made a name for himself as the genius yet socially awkward Eugene in AMC's apocalyptic drama The Walking Dead. He slips effortlessly into another horror-adjacent role in the season 2 episode "Pesticide".

In "Lydia Lane's Better Half", Helfer is a murderess attempting to get rid of a body with disastrous results.

Tobin Bell

Another horror alumnus, Tobin Bell is now synonymous with terror for his work in the Saw franchise where he played the titular villain, Jonathan Kramer, better known as the Jigsaw Killer.

Starring alongside Adrienne Barbeau and Giancarlo Esposito, Bell is featured as a well-meaning police chief of a small town. Eager to help a young boy deal with an abusive father in season 1's premiere episode, Chief gets more than he expects when he pops in for a visit.

Ryan Kwanten

An Australian actor, Kwanten has starred in a wide array of genres from teen drama to fantasy to horror. Best known for playing Jason Stackhouse in True Blood, he takes on a new genre with Creepshow's space-themed science fiction episode, "The Right Snuff".

An astronaut lets his jealousy push him to the limits when he is stationed alongside a gifted scientist.
