The Office is one of the U.S’s most highly rated and highly binge-worthy shows. For some reason, fans can’t seem to get enough of these characters, despite the fact that the show ended over six years ago in 2013. Perhaps it’s because of the love between Jim and Pam, the hilarious (and somewhat embarrassing) antics from Michael Scott, or maybe it’s The Office cast as a whole that audiences keep coming back for.
If you look at them individually, you can see how much each character brings to the show. For example, one of the show’s most underrated characters is Creed Bratton. Creed, played by Creed Bratton himself, is one of those characters that remains lurking in the shadows until we almost forget that he’s a part of the cast. That is until, eventually, we get a taste of his simple one-liners and remember why we need Creed’s arbitrary observations in the show. His off-the-cuff comments that come in from time to time is what makes Creed the best character on The Office. Creed is just so delightfully random that the office wouldn’t be the same without an occasional dose of his peculiar anecdotes. Take a look at some of our favorite Creed moments.

1. The Time Creed Made Creed Disappear
“Nobody steals from Creed Bratton and gets away with it. The last person to do this disappeared. His name: Creed Bratton.”
Watching Creed throughout The Office’s eight-year stint, and you will come to realize just how mysterious this character is. Viewers will constantly be questioning if these are just the ravings of a senile old man, or if Creed’s past is really as sinister as he makes us believe.
2. Creed’s Job Is…Something, Right?
In season two in the episode "Take Your Daughter to Work Day,” Michael walks around the office to introduce the kids to members of the office. When he gets to Creed, he stumbles and says, “Let’s take a look at what he’s doing, everybody! This is Creed, and he is in charge of…something. Right?”
To which Creed replies, “That is correct.” Did anyone ever figure out what exactly Creed did at Dunder Mifflin?
3. When He Didn’t Know Where He Worked
Creed has had many circumstances that made us question his sanity. He once randomly introduces himself to Meredith (as if they hadn't been working together for decades). He then begins to describe Angela as “Andrea, the office witch” (he definitely didn’t say, witch).
Another moment came at the end of episode 1 from season 9 in “New Guys” when he says,"In the parking lot today, there was a circus. The copier did tricks on the high wire. A lady tried to give away a baby that looked like a cat. There was a Dwight impersonator and a Jim impersonator. A strongman crushed a turtle. I laughed and I cried. Not bad for a day in the life of a dog food company.”
4. The Time He Used The Documentary To Hid From The Cops
In The Office Season 5 Episode 8: "Frame Toby", Dwight calls the cops with a tip that someone in the office is hiding drugs (in attempts to get Toby fired). Rather than his usual attempts to flee the scene, Creed stands up in the background and places his hands behind his head obediently.
This notion of guilt is only seen by the camera crew. We next see Creed behind the scenes telling the crew nervously, “Just pretend we’re talking until the cops leave.”
5. Www.creedthoughts.gov\creedthoughts
“I remember. I blogged the whole thing.” In season 3 in an episode titled “The Job,” we learn that Creed is the proud owner of a blog where he dispenses his (undoubtedly) ludicrous stream of consciousness. We know that this site is actually a simple Word document that Ryan sets up to save the world from reading Creed’s dark thoughts.
So now we may never know what ridiculous thoughts (and potential crimes) that Creed divulges in his blog.
6. The Time He Might Have Murdered Someone?
Okay, let’s be real. There are more than a dozen of circumstances that alludes to the idea that Creed might have murdered someone. There was that one time where Michael casually mentioned Creed was a murder suspect as a part of their Whodunit game which resulted in Creed’s not-so-slick getaway.
And the time in season 9 during “Here Comes Treble” when he showed up the Halloween party covered in blood. To which he said with a sigh of relief, “It’s Halloween! That is really, really good timing.”
7. Creed Turns 30
For reasons we can’t quite understand based on what little we know about Creed, he suddenly becomes desperate to keep his job once he realizes he might be at risk of losing it. In this episode during Season 4 in “Dunder Mifflin Infinity” Creed conspicuously dyes his hair and tries to incorporate slang into his conversations as a way to distract from his obvious age.
Pretty convincing, right? “I’m 30. Well, in November I’ll be 30.”
8. Creed as the Joker
In the episode “Employee Transfer” during season 5, Creed shows up to the annual Halloween party as Heath Ledger’s Joker from The Dark Knight. The ensemble is startlingly convincing and a rather impressive costume in itself (especially compared to Kevin’s rendition, which he wore the same day).
Creed played the part of a murderous mad-man a little too good in this scene.
9. The Time He Had Jim For Secret Santa
One of Creed’s most admirable attributes is his ability to care so little. He best showcases this in season 2 for the episode “Christmas Party” when he gets Jim for Secret Santa. Jim suspects that Creed forgot to get him a gift, so he took something old from his closet and wrapped it in a grocery shopping bag.
“He obviously forgot to get me something, And he went into his closet and dug out this little number. And then threw it in a bag." Creed, unapologetically confirms, “Yep. That’s exactly what happened.”
10. His New Years Resolution
Pam becomes inspired to put up a board for the office’s new year’s resolutions during the episode “Ultimatum” in the seventh season. She notices that Creed didn’t include his resolution on her board, so she inquires what he wants to achieve this year. His answer: a cartwheel. “I want to do a cartwheel. But real casual-like. Not make a big deal about it. But I know everybody saw it. Just one stunning, gorgeous cartwheel.”
Later, Michael is determined to help Creed meet his goal, even if they have to stay at the office all night. Creed then does a little hop (definitely not a cartwheel) and as a result, is quite proud of himself. “ I did it! The perfect cartwheel. What a rush. That’s all I had to do all year.”
