Even though Genshin Impact is an open-world RPG, there are still plenty of other things to enjoy outside of battling monsters, such as building homes and decorating furniture. One of these features is the homeworld housing system, a place added since the 1.5 update that lets players create their own self-contained world.

With all their exploring, Genshin Impact players can amass raw materials that can be used for crafting ornate items and furniture for their homes. Players can also dye fabrics to their liking, which can then be used to craft furniture in their favorite color. However, players just starting crafting furniture for their homes will have to purchase a few blueprints from Tubby or the Realm Depot. Once players have all the required materials, they can start decorating their homes with furnishings. The best time to decorate homes is during the waiting period after completing Genshin Impact’s quests and daily missions.

There is a myriad of customization options for players to employ, whether it be adding trees and rocks or placing furnishings to make their own homes. Some furniture can be placed together in sets, so here’s a guide on creating them in Genshin Impact’s homeworld.

Crafting Furnishing Sets in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact Housing System Explained

To create furnishing sets, players must first unlock the required blueprint for them. There are a few characters who will sell blueprints to the player in exchange for Mora, the first of which can be found in Genshin Impact's Mondstat. Next, visit the garden park south of the Knights of Favonius building on the western side of the city. Here, players can speak with Goth, who will sell some blueprints. Another man, named Master Lu, is found walking around the southernmost house in Qingce village. Outside of these sources, players can unlock new blueprints by completing quests in the Adeptal Mirror, which is available while in their homeworld realm. Once the blueprint is in their inventory, all the player needs to do to learn it is select it and use it.

Crafting furniture sets can only be done while in the homeworld, so use Genshin Impact's Serenitea Pot to get there. Tubby, the teapot spirit, will let players craft any furniture they’ve learned when he’s spoken to. However, simply knowing the blueprints isn’t enough. Players will need to have their hands on the right materials, which can be harvested from Teyvat. Hitting a tree is all it takes to collect wood, which the player will automatically collect a few seconds after it falls, but know that there are different types of trees that each yield their own type of wood. Once enough resources have been gathered, talk to Tubby to create new furniture. To create a specific furnishing set, open the placement screen as a player normally would to place furniture and then scroll over to the furniture set option. There, the player can see all the sets they can make and what furniture is required for each set. Once they have everything, click on the picture of the set, and it will spawn. Players can now position it anywhere they want in their Genshin Impact homes.
