Figuring out how to survive in the world of Breathedge is not an easy or simple experience. In make it through this world alive players will have to know how to craft many useful items and pieces of gear and be able to manage many different stats at once. Like all survival games, there are many different things to keep track of.

Two of the most important resources in the game for players to acquire are both food and water. Without these items, the player will not be able to survive longer than just a few hours. Luckily for the player, these items can be both found and crafted very easily. This guide shows players how to craft food and water in Breathedge.

There are many different things throughout the game that the player can craft that can be used to replenish both hunger and thirst. Players should keep in mind that several of the food items will actually increase the thirst meter as well so they should try not to eat those items when very thirsty.

  • Bottle of Water - A normal bottle of water can be crafted by using two pieces of ice at the processor. The player will find ice either floating randomly in space or by drilling to deposits on asteroids. Consuming this will regenerate 30 points of thirst.
  • Nutrition Package - This odd space goo is the most basic food item that players will acquire can be crafted by combining one piece of ice and a piece of nutritious goo. Both of these items can be found floating out in space. Eating this will regenerate 25 points of hunger.
  • Sweet Package - This container is basically just filled with honey, which the player can find in only a few select locations. The player will need to combine one piece of honey with one piece of ice. The honey can usually be found near the TV to the left of the starting shuttle. Eating this will regenerate 40 points of hunger but cost five points of thirst.
  • Salty Package - The grossly named Salty Package is a great way to boost up the hunger bar considerably and can be crafted using one salt and one ice. Salt can be found on deposits or floating out in the middle of nowhere. Eating this will regenerate 60 points of hunger but will cost 10 points of thirst.
  • Steak - While this steak isn't exactly made out of real beef, it's close enough to the real thing as long as the player can find meat. The player will need to get their hands one can of meat to craft a steak, and this can be found in a few areas later in the game. Eating this will regenerate 100 points of hunger, and there is no thirst cost unlike some of the other foods.
