One of the most important parts of Subnautica: Below Zero is all of the different items and resources that players are able to acquire throughout the game. Players can harvest various types of resources from a wealth of different places in the world. Resources are acquired from things like plant and animal life, by opening up containers in the nearby area, and even by exploring shipwrecks to see what treasures are hidden there.

The reason that players should look for these resources is so that they can then craft useful items for their journey. One such item is Fiber Mesh, which is a higher-tier crafting component that players will need to craft themselves. Once this item has been crafted the player is then able to use it for many different important crafting recipes. This guide shows players how to craft Fiber Mesh and what its uses are.

Subnautica: Below Zero - How to Craft Fiber Mesh

Subnautica Below Zero Better Than Original

Fiber Mesh is an extremely useful item and players will want to be able to craft it whenever possible. It is one of the first crafting recipes that the player will receive and in turn gives them the ability to construct many useful tools and items to aid them on their journey. In order to craft Fiber Mesh though the player must first get their hands on the Survival Knife, as this will allow them to harvest the Creepvine necessary for this item. In order to acquire the Survival Knife players need to craft it using one Silicone Rubber and one Titanium. With that, they cant hen travel to wherever Creepvine grows and cut it down to harvest the resource. With two pieces of Creepvine in hand, the player can then return to their Fabricator to create one Fiber Mesh.

Fiber Mesh is in turn used for a large amount of very useful items that will allow the player to explore the world more effectively. The Cold Suit and its accompanying pieces the Cold Gloves and Cold Helmet require Fiber Mesh in their construction and this collection of gear is arguably the most important in the game. Without these, the player isn't able to explore in colder water for very long. Fiber Mesh is also useful for creating the Rebreather in order to stay underwater for longer as well as First Aid Kits for healing after taking significant damage.
