As a Spirit Scout, players of Cozy Grove will need to collect as many badges as possible, one of these is achieved with Spirit Logs. Spirit Logs are specifically used to feed the campfire named Flamey in the center of the starting area. However, Spirit Logs are of limited supply and can only be collected from specific ghosts.
The ghosts that will grant players Spirit Logs are the bears. These bears will give the Spirit Scout small tasks around the island in exchange for Spirit Logs and other materials. Once collected they can be taken to Flamey, and given to him, but who are all these spirits and what are the tasks?
How to Feed the Fire Flamey with Spirit Logs in Cozy Cove
Players need to help each of the spirit bears anyways to bring the island back to life and make more of it accessible to the player. Each time that Flamey is fed they will tell the player of more spirits and their general locations. Flamey will also tell the player how many logs are needed until they are full and how many logs are available on the island.
Every couple of real-world days the bears will have new tasks for the Spirit Scout to complete until the player has reached full hearts with each of them. Remember that not all of the bears will appear right away as the game is about taking time and works well for players who are easily stressed out with too many tasks. Here are some of the bears and the tasks they will ask of the Spirit Scout.
- Jeremy Gruffle - A carpenter who will ask the player to collect branches for a workbench. Later he'll ask the player to collect more items to create different wooden tools for them.
- Patrice Furbac - A postal worker who will ask the player to find their lost package. Players can also collect mail from her afterward. Every few days random letters can be found scattered across the island that players can bring to her.
- Charlotte Pine - A park ranger who will ask the player to find their lost tea mug which is buried in the sand on the beach near the seagull ghost, Captain Billweather Snout.
- Francesca DuClaw - Francesa is a bear who believes she is a tree. Help her by collecting five leaves so she can return to a treelike form. Later she'll ask the player to help the walnut tree out of her reach and pluck the umbrella out of it.
- Allison Fisher - Allison is a baker bear who will ask the player to find her 3 bottles of ketchup so that she can make red velvet cupcakes to celebrate the new arrival. She only finds her recipe book after the player finds the ketchup but promises goodies later on.
