Star of Counting On, Jinger Vuolo was cut from a partnership with a Los Angeles donut shop for having differing "core values." In today’s modern world, there is no room for discrimination or hate as people were made to be different. This massive life lesson may have thrown a curveball in the plans of the Arkansas native.

Jinger was first introduced to viewers on 19 Kids and Counting, starring Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar and their 19 children. The massive family is devout Christians that choose to live by strict standards and rules which include the girls only wearing knee-length skirts, courting, and no PDA until marriage (including a frontal hug). The TLC show was canceled due to molestation allegations that came to light against the eldest Duggar child, Josh, but the network decided to give the other older children a spin-off called Counting On. The show was in hot water when Jill Dillard's husband Derick Dillard tweeted transphobic responses to fellow TLC star, Jazz Jennings. Derick was swiftly fired from the show, along with Jill, and the incident helped paint the Duggar family in an even worse light. The Vuolo family moved to Los Angeles for a big change, but it seems their out of date family's beliefs aren't meshing well for the progressive city.

For Jinger, being a social media influencer has fared harder than it looked thanks to the negative press surrounding her family. The Los Angeles based bakery called Fonuts ended their partnership with Jinger suddenly when the bakery took to Instagram to announce they had made a poor choice in their promotional partner. In a lengthy post, creators Nancy Truman and Thom Furtado wrote that they were shocked to learn about who exactly they had associated themselves with, saying that that had not done their research properly. They went out to promise their patrons that from now on they would conduct thorough background checks and only work with people who represent their core values which included kindness, inclusivity, and transparency - check out the full post below:

Even though Fonuts had named a donut after Jinger last week, it was not enough to save her lucrative endorsement deal. The Duggar family has been very open about their views against homosexuality and other religions saying they do not agree with these choices and were taught that they are wrong. Fonuts claimed that at the time when they signed the contract with the reality that they were not aware of Jinger & Co’s views or her family’s public opinions. Many fans commended the bakery for not allowing a "bigot" to speak for them as her family preaches against people who are different. However, followers of the Duggar family believed that Fonuts was being "intolerant" of the Duggar family for not believing the same thing as them, some went as far as calling the post "dramatic" and "embarrassing."

While Jinger and her husband have not commented on the situation many of her fans believe that she was showing tolerance when it came to be working with the Los Angeles bakery. Unfortunately for the reality star, she also lost a partnership with Rebecca Minkoff, as she was scheduled to appear at an event being held at the designer’s flagship store but was quietly taken off the list when the donut news was broken. The comments on both sides agree that the world is changing and everyone needs to learn to embrace others who are different - while some backed the LGBTQ+ community, others backed the Duggar family.
