Funny that two highly anticipated claymation (do they still call it that?) movies are being released at about the same time... Of course they are as different from each other as night and day.
On the one hand we have Tim Burton's The Corpse Bride, a wierd, creepy-looking thing for which I have yet to figure out who the target audience is. All I know is that when a commercial for it comes on, my 9 year old daughter and I look at each other and say "I don't think so."
Compare this to Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit: I get a grin on my face just thinking about this movie. Aardman animation is to clay (ok fine, plasticine) what Pixar is to CGI: A company that makes movies that are as funny to a 3 year old as they are to a 60 year old, and without any stupid double entendre, wink-wink-nudge-nudge moments in movies that are marketed to kids.
