A new announcement from Humble Games has revealed that upcoming title Coral Island will come to Xbox Game Pass on day one. Although currently only an early access release date for Coral Island is known, Game Pass subscribers will all receive the title whenever its final release occurs. The news from Humble Games also revealed several other upcoming titles that will come to Game Pass day one in the future.Coral Island is one of the most highly-anticipated upcoming simulation games. Set in a beautiful island environment, the game incorporates all the beloved elements of the farming simulation genre alongside some new and welcome twists. Players can farm over 75 plantable crops, explore different locales, decorate, and romance the townsfolk. Coral Island has an environmental preservation focus, and a core part of gameplay will involve keeping the coral reef free of trash. The trailer was a part of Gamescom 2022, and revealed 7 games in total that would make their way to Game Pass on day one, including Coral Island. Early access for the game begins on October 11 of this year and will likely remain in that state for quite some time, meaning players shouldn't expect the release until at least late 2023.

Several other titles set to be published by Humble Games were revealed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass day one in the new trailer alongside Coral Island, with an overall diverse lineup of games set to come to the service in the future. Although the Animal Crossing-esque Coral Island stole the show for many simulation fans, the list of games also includes Metroidvania, platformer, and rhythm-based games among others. Games like Signalis and Midnight Fight Express were first announced multiple years ago, meaning lots of players have waited a long time to get their hands on some of these titles.
