Inventory management is crucial in farming sims like Coral Island, as players constantly collect new resources that go into the limited amount of bag space they possess. While it is neither possible nor necessary to carry every time type of item at all times, having more item slots makes gathering and inventory management much more convenient. Therefore, learning how to upgrade one's inventory space should be one of the first objectives that islanders should have after starting their adventure on Coral Island.
The player protagonist in Coral Island begins with only a 5-slot bag for carrying items in their inventory. Compared to most farming sims, such an abysmal amount of space is not optimal, especially when there are so many resources by the players' home that islanders need to clear away. Of course, making multiple back-and-forth trips to haul items is possible, but upgrading the limited inventory space will make the work much easier and more enjoyable in Coral Island.
Based on gameplay provided by the YouTube channel GosuNoob, Coral Island fans can upgrade their inventory space by visiting Sam's General Store in the Town area of this farming sim's world map. This region of the map is located east of the players' farm, north of the Beach, and southeast of Garden Lane. Starting from the farm, travel westward, following the trail across two wooden bridges. Continue going west into the central plaza, where the general store sits on the northern side of the lot.
Increasing The Inventory Bag In Coral Island
Keep in mind that Sam's General Store only operates from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm every day. Sam might be available for a chat if players visit the establishment anytime before or after these set hours, but his shop and its wares will not be accessible. Nevertheless, after entering the store, speak with Sam behind the counter. Next, select the "Upgrade Bag" option in the dialogue bubble in Coral Island.
At first, Sam will offer an excellent deal in this farming sim, presenting players with a 20-slot inventory bag upgrade for 500 Coins in Coral Island. However, when players try to increase their bag's size a second time, this cost will multiply by seven for 3,500 Coins. As one might expect, the price will continue to rise as players upgrade their inventory.
