Screen Rant is excited to exclusively present a clip from Constantine - The House of Mystery, the latest collection of DC Showcase animated shorts from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. This year's compilation release highlights characters such as John Constantine, Kamandi, The Losers, and Blue Beetle in a series of R-rated shorts that will be available on Blu-ray and in 4K on Digital starting May 3.

One thing that makes Constantine - The House of Mystery particularly special is that it very well may be the last time fans hear Welsh actor Matt Ryan provide legendary DC Comics character with his signature flair. Having originated the role in NBC's beloved but short-lived series Constantine in 2014, he went on to reprise the master of the occult in DC's Legends of Tomorrow and in several animated projects. Now that the CW show is sadly defunct and HBO Max is reportedly eyeing a different actor for their upcoming take on Constantine, the DC Showcase may serve as a fond farewell to Ryan's version of the character.

In the exclusive Constantine - The House of Mystery clip provided by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, John is seen trying to make his escape from the aforementioned house. He is prevented by invisible barriers and tries to find a way to break through with the use of his own magic, but to no avail. Upon realizing illusion tricks are to blame for the metaphorical fog around him, he endeavors to uncover what brought him to this strange location in the first place. Seconds away from a revelation, a demonic force takes hold of him once more. Check out the full clip below:

Other shorts included in the DC Showcase collection are Kamandi: The Last Boy on Earth!, The Losers and Blue Beetle. These three have all previously appeared as enhanced content on DC Universe movies, but now they are grouped together for the first time in their own Blu-ray to herald the debut of Constantine - The House of Mystery. Each short presented is inspired by characters from the world of DC Comics, with Rick Morales (Mortal Kombat Legends) and Jim Krieg (Batman: The Long Halloween) serving as producers producer, along with Sam Register (Young Justice) as executive producer.

Constantine - The House of Mystery centers on none other than John Constantine, who wakes up in the eerie House of Mystery with no recollection of how he got there. Zatanna and his friends are all there, but they keep turning into demons and ripping him to shreds in a never-ending cycle of doom and gloom. The extended short also stars Camilla Luddington (Grey’s Anatomy) and Ray Chase (Licorice Pizza), who reprise their roles from Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, while Robin Atkin Downes (The Strain) and Damian O’Hare (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) reprise their roles from Constantine: City of Demons. Matt Peters (Injustice) directs from a script by Ernie Altbacker (Batman: Hush).
