Conan's First Guests Include Seth Rogen, Tom Hanks & Jon Hamm

Conan O'Brien TBS

Conan O'Brien's upcoming return to television, aptly named Conan, has its first listing of guests. While this kind of high-profile show will be a new height for TBS late-night programming, don't expect Conan to settle down at all.

These guests are pretty huge names. While some are clearly promoting a product (as most late-night guests do), others just want to be a part of Conan's triumphant return.

Call it wishful-thinking, but one man on the list has me hoping for a superhero salute. With all the buzz around Jon Hamm as a potential Superman in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, could we get a late-night announcement? Of course, it's extremely unlikely, but we can dream. Keep that in mind when Hamm's November 10th appearance date rolls around.

The rest of Conan's first week is loaded with interesting guests for all kinds of fans. Deadline shared Conan's list of guests and musical performances. Check it out below:

Monday, Nov. 8 – Guest poll winner (this could turn out to be a joke as the choices include the Pope Putin and the current leader, the elusive Jack Nicholson), Seth Rogen and musical guest Jack WhiteTuesday, Nov. 9 – Tom Hanks, Jack McBrayer and musical guest SoundgardenWednesday, Nov. 10 – Jon Hamm, Charlyne Yi and musical guest Fistful of MercyThursday, Nov. 11 – Michael Cera, Julie Bowen and comedian Jon Dore

Team Coco has been extra busy as the show nears its November 8th premiere. Just rrecently, they ran a 24-hour live cam in the stairwell of the Team Coco offices where everything from a dancing taco to punishment bingo was held for all to see. In the final weeks before the show, Conan and his crew of writers are hard at work creating new material for the orange-haired maniac.

Although Max Weinberg will not return, Conan's house band was recently labeled with a name - The Basic Cable Band. He always finds a way to make minimalist jokes generate a laugh.

Conan will have no problem keeping his dedicated fans tuned in, but the key will be hanging on to the new followers. Few people are unaware of Conan's story and his comedic style, but with the new TBS location, he'll surely get a few new viewers. Don't expect TBS to treat him with overly intense anticipation, but they have been working hard to get the brand out there for everyone to see.

Conan airs on TBS on Monday, November 8th @ 11pm.
