During every season of Fortnite, players complete Weekly Challenges to earn XP toward leveling their Battle Pass. Aside from the main plot and theme of the season, players can also search for or stumble upon several secret challenges that divert from the main plot but can add a little extra XP to the weekly lineup. When secret challenges were first introduced in Chapter 2 Season 2, they centered around the teddy bears and the gnomes fighting an epic battle in the background of the season. The gnomes made a brief appearance in Season 3 but were largely replaced by the Coral Buddies in their quest to enter the nuclear age. During Season 4, in the background of the Marvel crossover event, the gnomes have returned.

In the last few weeks, the gnomes have been entranced by billboards advertising Slurp Juice and enticed into dynamite traps, and one had been found in a secret lair apparently plotting something big, also related to Slurp Juice. This week, players can now begin their search to discover who might have been behind the dynamite traps. The first thing they'll need to do in their investigation is find one of the Most Wanted posters found around the island. For their troubles, they will earn 10,000 XP. Here's where to go to find a Most Wanted poster and complete the Most Wanted challenge in Fortnite Season 4.

How to Complete the Most Wanted Secret Challenge in Fortnite Season 4

The Shark landmark in Fortnite

Finding a Most Wanted poster isn't too difficult. They are located at three different minor landmarks on the map: The Shark, Camp Cod, and Hydro 16. The posters are sprays depicting a cruel-looking gnome, presumably the one behind the attempted attacks on the other gnomes.

At The Shark, the spray is located inside its mouth and to the left, outside the upgrade station. At Camp Cod, players can find the spray in the northeast region of the island under a broken-down building, and at Hydro 16, players can find it above the dock.

Players can't complete this challenge until they have defused all the dynamite traps from the Downfall challenge, and they only need to visit one of the Most Wanted posters to complete the challenge and earn their XP. This is likely to come in handy, given players need to reach level 220 of the Battle Pass to unlock all the season's exclusive cosmetics, including the silver-, gold-, and holo-foil color variants of the Battle Pass skins.

Some players have pointed out that this challenge appears to mirror the superhero and supervillain theme taking place in Season 4, with its own supervillain origin story. It is also possible this will somehow come back to tie into the likely Galactus season-ending event.
