The cast of Community recently reunited for a virtual table read of the season five episode, "Cooperative Polygraphy" in order to raise funds for Covid-19 relief efforts through the organizations, Frontline Foods, and José Andrés' World Central Kitchen.

Creator Dan Harmon and most of the main cast were in attendance, with Chevy Chase being the only exception. Like with most things involved with Community, the table read was a lot of fun and even got guest-star Pedro Pascal to ridiculously break character a few times. After the table read, the cast, along with Dan Harmon, had a Q&A session moderated by Variety's Michael Schneider. The cast revealed a couple of interesting things about the show and each other. Here is a list of the 10 most interesting things from that Q&A session.

The Missing LeVar Burton End Credit Scene

LeVar Burton starred in the episode "Geothermal Escapism," in which he became Troy's (Donald Glover) sailing partner. The end credit scene of this episode saw Troy bombard Burton with a bunch of Star Trek questions while stuck in traffic.

However, Dan Harmon said that there was an alternate end credit scene filmed, in which Burton got so angry with being stuck in traffic that he completely lost his cool and started to shout at everybody. Interestingly, most of the cast seemingly weren't aware of this ending either.

Donald Glover Came Up With A Community Movie Idea

The last fans heard of Troy and LeVar Burton, they were captured by pirates in the Gulf of Mexico in the episode "Analysis of Cork-based Networking." When asked what Troy would be doing, he first replied that Troy was likely dead, but after thinking, actually came up with a pretty cool idea.

He said that Troy would still be lost and Abed (Danny Pudi) would be on a mission to find him. Pudi and Harmon were also into it, therefore, perhaps if there is a Community movie, it would see Abed on an epic rescue mission.

Ken Jeong Broke The Most And That May Have Got Him Into Trouble With David Cross

According to Danny Pudi, Ken Jeong, who played the psychotic yet loveable Ben Chang, was always the one to break out in laughter and also the one who tried to get the rest of the cast to break the most.

Apparently, this got really bad in the episode "Advanced Advanced Dungeons and Dragons," in which he, along with a few of the other cast members, were sitting on a bed with David Cross. However, Ken Jeong couldn't get it together and ended up shaking the bed so much that it earned him a stink eye from Cross.

They Listened To Donald Glover's First Mixtape On The Way To Lunch

One of the best parts of the Community cast members is that they all seem really supportive of each other. One of these ways was supporting Glover and his music, who, as Childish Gambino, has become one of the most revolutionary musicians of the last few years.

According to Nicole Yvette Brown, she, along with Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, listened to Glover's very first mixtape, which he had just finished, while carpooling to lunch.

Danny Pudi Helped Donald Glover Move

While speaking about the closeness of the cast and how special their time was together, Glover talked about how Pudi helped him move.

Pudi graciously offered his help to Glover and showed up, in a visor, to help him move into an apartment. Therefore, it seems like Abed and Troy's epic friendship extends to the characters, as well.

Ken Jeong Used To Improvise Medical Terms On The Show

Ken Jeong is best known as the comedic genius from The Hangover franchise, and just like his character on Dr. Ken, and in real life, he is also a licensed physician.

Therefore, it isn't surprising that he consistently improvised medical terms on the show. According, to Gillian Jacobs, he just couldn't stop doing it.

The Cast Are Rewatching Community

Community has recently been made available on Netflix, which has caused many people to rewatch the show. This seems to be the case for the actors, too.

In particular, Alison Brie said she has fallen into a Community rabbit hole, while Yvette Nicole Brown has been watching it in order to answer all the new fan questions. Danny Pudi has been watching the show with his kids and has been forced into explaining weird things from the show, like Pierce's Laser Lotus status.

They Revealed What Their Characters Would Be Doing In Quarantine

The cast was asked what their characters would be doing while in quarantine and, unsurprisingly, Yvette Nicole Brown revealed that Shirley would be baking, while Joel McHale said that Jeff Winger would be all the way in Vietnam making a show with Elroy (Keith David). Predictably, Jim Rash said that the Dean would be at Greendale and Ken Jeong said that Chang had probably reconnected with his missing mannequin leg, Veronica.

Gillian Jacobs diverted her question to Dan Harmon, who said that she would have probably been protesting the anti-stay-at-home protestors. Brie, who is well known for her work with Netflix, said that Annie would probably be binging on the streaming site, and in a similar fashion, Abed said that he would be rewatching series and ranking them. Sadly, Glover didn't say much other than that Troy would have likely just returned home.

The Cast All Still Get Along

Within seconds of both, the table read and the Q&A session, the chemistry between the cast members was palpable. Unlike many shows where the cast drift off from each other, it is clear that the cast of Community is still pretty close

Full of silliness and inside jokes, it seems as if they haven't lost a beat. Donald Glover said it felt like no time had passed, while Yvette Nicole Brown revealed that whenever they get together or are on a group chat, it is the same feeling of enjoying each other's company.

A Lot Of The Cast Are Keen For The Movie And Dan Harmon Is Still Silent About It

As always, fans are eager for the Community movie. Over the years, there have been tons of rumors about the movie and many of the cast members have said that they would like to make one.

When asked in the Q&A session, most of the cast members again reiterated that they would be up for it, while Glover hilariously responded: "We can't make movies right now anyway." However, all eyes were on Harmon, who was as evasive as ever and even took off his shirt to avoid the question. Hopefully, with all Community's new popularity, the movie will be happening soon.
