Community and New Girl might be two of the quirkiest and unique sitcoms out there today, and fans of these two shows are die-hard fandom lovers. Everyone who watches knows that there's a lot of weird romances around, and they might be shipping Nick and Jess or Jeff and Britta, there's still a lot of dating to be had.

Everyone loves a good cross-over, and if the gang from loft 4D met up with the study group, it might result in a hilarious and entertaining time. Of course, there might even be some romance afloat. It's time to imagine a world with both these groups - and the couples that would work, and the ones that would definitely crash and burn.

Wouldn't Work: Britta & Coach

Britta and Coach

These two could have a lot of fun together, but they'd probably soon realize that there really wasn't much more to it than that. Britta would probably get annoyed with Coach's 'tough-guy' persona, and Coach would likely get annoyed with Britta's sporadic behavior.

They could likely have a pretty hilarious brother-sister relationship, but neither of them is up to having a serious relationship - so together, they'd probably just crash and burn.

Would Work: Annie & Winston

Annie and Winston

These two both have personalities that are impossible not to love. Winston is the boyfriend material that Annie has always deserved, but she also has a spark that could help Winston live a passion-filled life.

They both aren't super spontaneous, but they could just live in each other's comfort zones with some regular fun and adorable romance. Annie and Winston have hearts of gold, and they could definitely be couple goals.

Wouldn't Work: Jeff & Jess

Jeff and Jess

Jess is one of the most genuine sitcom characters ever, and she certainly hates lies and fakeness. Jeff's entire personality would probably drive Jess crazy, and she would do everything in her power to change his ways - which would only annoy him.

They'd likely argue non-stop, and nothing about their personalities really compliments the other. They are opposites, and this probably isn't a case of 'opposites attract'.

Would Work: Troy & Cece

Troy and Cece

These two are both totally cool and super down-to-earth, but they're also pretty independent and kind people. Troy could bring out a nerdy side of Cece while she could show him the ropes on adulting and maturity.

They could have a ton of fun together, but they both also know when to be sentimental and serious. They would also be one good-looking couple, and could have a shot at making it last.

Wouldn't Work: Annie & Schmidt

Annie and Schmidt

Annie is likely the cute girl at a party that Schmidt tries to hit on, and Annie might be flattered at first before she realizes that she can do better. It's nothing against Schmidt - because he and Cece are totally goals.

However, Annie doesn't have the fire to keep Schmidt in line, and he'd likely just ruin every aspect of her ambition and innocence. This is a duo that's bound to end in a toxic romance, if it ever began.

Would Work: Britta & Nick

Britta and Nick

This might turn into a really lazy relationship, but it could also actually be one of the most wholesome there is. They're both wickedly independent, hate laws and rules, and like to just be their own person.

They could easily move to a remote island and just pretend they're the only two humans in the world. They're actually a lot alike, and they could even run a bar together. If they could make it work, it'd be one to last.

Wouldn't Work: Jeff & Cece

Jeff and Cece

It's probably safe to say that Jeff couldn't make it work with anyone from the loft. Cece was into Schmidt, but there's something more vulnerable and quirky about him than Jeff. Jeff is the selfish bad boy that Cece may have found herself with in the past, but it's not her future.

They both need someone to bring out the best in them, and they aren't that for each other. They would probably just roll their eyes at each other, so they could be friends, but certainly not partners.

Would Work: Dean Pelton & Paul

Dean and Paul

Neither Pelton or Paul have really explicitly discusses their sexuality, but if they were open to it, they'd make a pretty adorable couple. They could dance and sing together, and Paul could spoil Pelton just like he wants to be.

They're both pure and innocent souls that just want to be loved, and together, they could have a pretty tame but totally satisfying relationship. This is one that fans could definitely see happening.

Wouldn't Work: Annie & Nick

Annie and Nick

While Jess has been able to bring out the best in Nick, Annie probably wouldn't even want to try. Her and Jess are a lot alike, but Annie has more independence and ambition that isn't about trying to change someone's entire being.

Her obsession with order and organization would be totally upset by Nick's sporadic behavior, and he wouldn't be open to her trying to fix it. They don't click, and they have far too many differences to make anything work.

Would Work: Abed & Jess

Abed and Jess

Abed and Jess are two souls that deserve to be protected at all costs, and they're both so pure and good that their hearts together would totally be sweet. Jess could help Abed expand his horizons, but she would also be totally understanding.

Plus, Abed's passion, sweetness, and quirky hilarity is something Jess could totally get behind. There's something about this pairing that's just pretty adorable to think about.
