Television was truly in a golden age during the decade of 2005-2015, and there were so many phenomenal shows that premiered and aired during that era that some of the truly under-rated series can get lost in the mix. One such show is Community, the NBC/Yahoo! sitcom that helped launch Dan Harmon's comedic television career centered around a misfit study-group at Greendale Community College.

The comedy does a perfect job of helping audiences revisit their own wacky and hijink-filled memories from their college years and touches base on all of the oddities that one could experience while away for a semester of college. But just like any regular school year, the seasons of Community had to conclude at some point and all of the finale episodes did hilarious jobs of recapping the Greendale-Seven's  crazy year-long escapades.

Advanced Introduction to Finality, Season 4 (7.7)

While season 3 decided to skip a paintball episode completely (save for a minute-long flashback clip) season 4 chose to bring the Community staple back... kind of. The Darkest Timeline had been introduced in the prior season and Abed had done his best not to mention it all year long. However, when Jeff prepares to graduate and realizes that he doesn't want to go back to his old law firm, Evil Jeff enters their timeline along with the rest of the Evil Versions of the Greendale-Seven as they try to make Regular Jeff take the job as a lawyer.

In an attempt to mix sci-fi and paintball, the Regular Greendale-Seven face off against the Evil Greendale-Seven using special paintball guns... but it's then revealed that the entire encounter is merely happening in Jeff's imagination and he continues on to his long-awaited graduation ceremony.

Basic Sandwich, Season 5 (8.2)

Annie, Abed and Dean Pelton in shock in Community

Talk about product placement. While Community was never a show to shy away from promoting certain products throughout the series, they really laid it on thick during the season 5 finale with the entire episode's premise centering around Subway buying the entire school of Greendale and turning it into a "sandwich college". However, the Greendale-Seven won't go down without a fight and do everything they can to stop the fast-food conglomerate from taking over their school - including finding buried treasure underneath the school that belonged to the original founder of Greendale. The study group not only discovers the hidden treasure, but they also find the original founder of the school still alive (though incredibly dingy and out-of-touch with society). With their newfound funding (as well as the original owner having claim to the school) Subway backs out of their agreement and the Greendale-Seven live to study another day.

Pascal's Triangle Revisited, Season 1 (8.5)

Community was one of the few shows where there wasn't any prime relationship that the series focused on throughout the entire show. That said, the first season certainly made it seem as though the prime couple would be Jeff and Britta as they fought their feelings for one another all year long. During the finale (after having slept with Britta two episodes prior) Jeff reaches a crossroad when his old girlfriend, Professor Slater, says that she wants to get back together. However, at the school's year-end dance, Britta gets jealous seeing Jeff with Slater and publicly declares her love for Jeff in front of everybody. Jeff, not knowing who to choose, decides to pick neither and leaves the dance... only to run into Annie and decide to make out with her instead.

Introduction to Finality, Season 3 (8.8)

Season 3 was a wild ride for Community as it not only introduced the Darkest-Timeline but it also included The Chang Dynasty when Chang turned into a dictator and took over the school. Luckily, once the finale came around all of the darkness had seemed to subside and the Greendale-Seven were ready to pass their biology final. That is, until Shirley and Pierce go to Greendale-Court against one another for ownership rights to their sandwich shop, putting Jeff in the middle of it. Not only that, but Abed goes into a mental-breakdown due to Troy having to leave for Air-Conditioner repair school and thinks he's Evil-Abed. Thankfully, Jeff pulls off a classic "Winger speech" at the end which breaks Abed out of his trance while Troy becomes an A/C Repairman Messiah and is able to return to his friends.

Emotional Consequences of Broadcast Television, Season 6 (9.5)

It couldn't have ended any better. The whole point of college is to build up a cache of memories to look back on throughout the rest of life, while still realizing that bigger and better things await a person once they leave - and that was the exact message that the Community finale gave to it's fans. The study group spends the hour-long special brainstorming about what they could possibly do for a "season 7" with everybody looking at their lives through Abed's meta-lens. However, at the end, it's revealed that Annie and Abed have both received jobs in their respective fields with everybody else continuing on their own prospective career paths. The group of college friends depart, but the adventures they shared together will always be with them.

For a Few Paintballs More, Season 2 (9.6)

The most popular and well-known staple for Community is, by and far, the paintball episodes. After the success of the first game of paintball-assassin the year before, season two decided to step things up a notch by hosting another paintball-assassin game with a grand prize of $100,000 going to the winner. Naturally, the students begin to attack one another and it turns into a paint-bath with the school being physically destroyed in the process.

It's then revealed that the $100,000 prize was a ploy by City College in an attempt to get Greendale to destroy their own school. With that knowledge, the students of Greendale form an alliance to win the game and use the $100,000 to fix the damage they had done to the school.
