Unlimited includes titles from almost every publisher you can dream of, from the titans of the industry like Marvel and DC to smaller, fledgling publishing houses that could benefit from the extra exposure. In addition to just reading material, the service offers guides, suggestions, and even subscription services so you’ll be notified whenever the next issue of your favorite comic drops. There’s been no information as to how long this comiXology offer will last, so strike while the iron is hot.
ComiXology isn’t the only digital media service trying to help keep people sane in lockdown. For lovers of traditional books, Scribd is offering free access to its library of books for the next month, Sling TV is making much of its library temporarily free, and many major movie studios are releasing blockbuster movies early for in-home viewing. And that’s just to name a few options.
ComiXology's extended trial is obviously great news for casual readers and die-hards alike. But it’s important to note that after the 60 trial period expires, the regular charge of $5.99 a month will automatically kick in if you don’t cancel.
