TinTin Comic-Con 2011 Panel

Steven Spielberg, one of Hollywood's most celebrated filmmakers is making his first appearance at San Diego Comic Con 2011 to showcase his hotly-anticipated CGI adaptation of fan-favorite children's novel, The Adventures of Tin-Tin.

While certainly encouraging, The Adventures of Tin-Tin trailer left some fans speculating whether or not Spielberg and company would tighten the gap in the "uncanny valley," producing a film that both looks great as well as delivers believable computer-generated character animations. Not to mention bearing the pressure of a beloved franchise.

While the specifics of The Adventures of Tin-Tin panel are still mostly under wraps, Spielberg's Comic Con debut is certainly encouraging - as the famed director must be pretty confident in the footage he's going to screen in front of the 6,500 seats in Hall H.
