Let it be said that this is not a paid advertisement for Comcast. It just so happens that the cable company is having an amazing promotion that will benefit fans of dozens of TV shows, who may be a few seasons behind on their favorite series.
From March 25th to March 31st, Comcast is hosting what they're calling a Watchathon. Subscribers to Comcast's Xfinity cable service will have access to over 3,500 episodes from 100 TV series, including Game of Thrones on HBO, Mad Men on AMC, Dexter and Homeland on Showtime, Revolution on NBC and plenty more.
Regardless of a subscriber's packages, many pay cable, basic cable and other networks are making tons of shows available through Xfinity On Demand, Xfinity.com/tv, the Xfinity TV Player App for Apple and Android devices and Xfinity Streampix.
The event doesn't just cover series that are currently airing or have new seasons on the way; in fact, channels like HBO and Showtime have made tons of their older shows available, such as The Sopranos, Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, Weeds, Californication and many more.
Other shows include FX's spectacular new series The Americans, CBS' surprisingly good Sherlock Holmes adaptation Elementary, A&E's Hitchcock-inspired series Bates Motel and the hit series The Walking Dead, which is coming up on their series finale. Here's a full list of all the shows available this week as part of Watchathon:

In addition, after this week, Comcast and Xfinity will continue to let viewers catch up on select shows, with a different season of a variety of different series made available each week from now until the end of 2013. To keep up on that promotion, stay tuned to the Xfinity's Watchathon website:
So, if you're behind on some of your favorite shows getting ready to kick off a new season, or you just happened to miss a bunch last year (or for several years), use this one-week promotion and get caught up with the rest of us!
The Comcast Watchathon runs from March 25 - 31, 2013.
