The Juggernaut is one of Marvel's most unstoppable villains, but when the X-Men's Colossus swiped his powers and got his own armor upgrade from Cyttorak, he made the original powerhouse look weak in comparison. In the Fear Itself storyline from Marvel Comics, Juggernaut gained one of the seven Hammers of the Worthy, transforming the process. As Juggernaut abandoned his powers, Colossus ended up gaining them and used them to become even more unstoppable.

Juggernaut has sparred with the X-Men for years, using the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak to give him unstoppable powers. The villain has battled against Colossus on a handful of occasions, including a drunken fight where the two Marvel Comics strongmen leveled a bar. Juggernaut ended up knocking Colossus out cold in the testosterone-filled battle. Colossus would help Deadpool take down Juggernaut in live-action, where Ryan Reynolds played the villain in Deadpool 2. The two strongmen always seem to have beef, which made Colossus taking his powers and armor in Fear Itself that much more enjoyable.

In the Uncanny X-Men #542-543 by Kieron Gillen, Greg Land, Jay Leisten, Justin Ponsor, and VC's Joe Caramagna, the Juggernaut received an all-new role in the Marvel Universe, gaining the power of the Asgardian Serpent, wielding a massive hammer as one of the Worthy. With the Juggernaut abandoning his usual powers, Magik attempted to take his place as Cyttorak's avatar. However, Colossus took her place and became the new unstoppable Juggernaut. With new abilities and armor on top of his mutant powers, Colossus proved to be quite a match for Cain Marko.

X-Men's Colossus Juggernaut Was Even More Unstoppable Than The Original

Juggernaut and Cain Marko end up fighting on a bridge in San Francisco, as the original Juggernaut ends up hitting Colossus with some tremendous blows with his hammer. However, Colossus' Juggernaut seems to enjoy getting hit and ends up toppling a building while driving Marko to the ground. After grabbing the former Juggernaut, Colossus realizes he can't stop him and ends up pushing him more than 600 MPH. The Serpent has to intervene and teleports the hammer-wielding villain out of harm's way, knowing he would be defeated if he kept fighting the unstoppable Colossus. Meanwhile, Colossus becomes so out of control he can't stop running until the ground below him sinks and stops him.

Colossus would hold onto the powers for a little longer before eventually being stripped of them by his sister Magik. While Colossus wasn't Marvel's Juggernaut for long, he proved in a short time that with Cyttorak's armor and powers, he was practically unstoppable, especially when fighting Cain Marko. The original Juggernaut would probably like to forget being bested by the X-Men hero.
