The launch of Call of Duty: Warzone's and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Season 6 has been mired by widespread game crashes for many players around the world on all platforms, but developer Infinity Ward says it now has resolved the problem. This isn't the first time that Warzone has experienced game-breaking glitches in recent memory, but this seems to be the most debilitating issue that the game has experienced so far.

Season 6 launched late on September 28th and brought many new changes to Warzone. One of the biggest changes to the game is a new fast-travel system that allows players to travel across Verdansk quickly by using the subway systems. There is also a brand new game mode called Armored Royale that spawns teams inside of an armored truck with a gun turret, and tasks players with eliminating enemy teams. Infinity Ward also decided to nerf several weapons going into the new season like the Origin 12 shotgun and C4.

Reports started coming in yesterday morning that the game was crashing, and Activision Support announced on Twitter that it was looking into the problem as quickly as possible. Many users in the comments section responded saying that they were having issues on all platforms that Warzone is available on. Almost twelve hours later developer Infinity Ward chimed in to say that it was still looking into the problem, but that there would hopefully be a fix sometime today. Most recently, Infinity Ward shared that "a patch is rolling out now that resolves this issue across all platforms."

There have been a wide array of different glitches in Warzone since the game released back in March. One bug allowed players to respawn infinitely inside the final circle, which made winning a game near impossible unless the player knew how to exploit the bug. Another big glitch caused weapons and money to fall through the ground never to be seen again. Most of these glitches for Warzone caused massive problems for players in the game, but none were as bad or as widespread as this most recent current game-crashing bug.

There is nothing worse than experiencing a crash in the middle of a play session, and it is even worse when a vast portion of players are experiencing the same issue. It is unclear as to what exactly went wrong with the new update cause these problems in Warzone, but whatever it is must be a pretty major issue. Hopefully, Infinity Ward's fix for Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Wafare is a permanent and effective one.
