The Music Legend Mastercraft Bundle for Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War includes a new weapon blueprint that allows users to play piano on the FFAR-1 assault rifle. Call of Duty continues to step up its game in the cosmetics department for Warzone and BOCW, though a fair few hiccups have plagued the experience for many players. For example, the Rook skin for Operator Roze remains difficult to spot on the battlefield, despite recent nerfing efforts.

Animated weapon skins aren't exactly new to Activision's flagship brand, though. The NekroKing Mastercraft bundle that released a couple of months ago boasted an Ice Drake AR Charlie skin, which would come to life whenever dragon wings on each side of the barrel flapped. Raven Software had to remove the blueprint following reports of the game-breaking bugs it caused, but the Ice Drake eventually received a fix that saw it reinstated in the Call of Duty store. Hopefully, the blueprints in the new Music Legend Mastercraft Bundle won't prove similarly problematic.

The Music Legend Mastercraft Bundle is now available to purchase in Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War for 2400 CoD Points (approximately $20). It includes over half a dozen cosmetic items, namely the Shredder Weapon, Amped Up Weapon, Rockstar Operator Skin, Center Stage Vehicle Skin, Soul Search Watch, Battle Shredder Emblem, Cultural Expert Calling Card, and Super Disco Charm. The Shredder Weapon in particular presents players with a skin for the FFAR-1 assault rifle that features a mini keyboard along the barrel. As far as animated skins go, this is one that fans may want to at least give a try.

This DLC pack seems a neat addition to the cosmetic offerings in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. It remains to be seen how active players will take to the Shredder skin over time, though. If the piano-inspired cosmetic doesn't introduce any major issues, it's possible that animated skins will become a more permanent fixture in Call of Duty.

Warzone and Black Ops Cold War have both proven a force to be reckoned with since their respective releases. Black Ops Cold War continues to reign on the sales charts several months after launch, for example. And Warzone recently hit the 100 million-player milestone.
