Screen Rant's Cobra Kai season 4 exclusive clip sees the arrival of Thomas Ian Griffith's fan-favorite Karate Kid villain Terry Silver. Developed by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, the martial arts dramedy serves as a sequel to The Karate Kid film franchise, picking up 34 years after the events of the original and shifting the focus from Ralph Macchio's Daniel LaRusso to William Zabka's Johnny Lawrence as his life is in a rut having gone from the rich lifestyle of Encino as a teenager to a part-time handyman in Reseda. In an effort to help local bullied teenagers defend themselves, Johnny reopens the titular dojo, leading to a rekindling of the rivalry between he and Daniel.

Cobra Kai season 4 finds Johnny's Eagle Fang and Daniel's Miyagi-Do joining forces in an effort to take down Cobra Kai, now back under the control of the maniacal John Kreese, at the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament. The next chapter of the hit Netflix series will also see the two face off against The Karate Kid Part III villain Terry Silver, who is returning to help Kreese maintain control over the titular dojo. After nearly a year of waiting, audiences are gearing up for the return of Cobra Kai for season 4 this month.

Though The Karate Kid Part III has never ranked well on fan lists for the martial arts franchise, Griffith's antagonist Terry Silver has often been cited as one of the more well-received of the bunch. As Cobra Kai began planting the seeds of Silver's involvement in the story of the series in season 2, audience anticipation for Griffith's return to the role has been high, with the season 3 cliffhanger of Kreese calling him up for help in fighting Johnny and Daniel leaving many on edge. Griffith has teased the exciting nature of Silver's return to the fold, with the actor describing the story as being "so absurd that it's fantastic."

The Cobra Kai season 4 exclusive clip is sure to build anticipation further for Silver's return in the series. With both he and Kreese reclaiming the dojo they helped find and seeking to bring it back to the ruthless nature seen in the original Karate Kid movies, Johnny and Daniel will have a difficult battle ahead of them both mentally and physically. The wait for Cobra Kai season 4 is nearly over as the show returns on December 31.
