Cobra Kai is showing off its cast's stunt training for season 4 in a new behind-the-scenes video. Originating on YouTube Red for seasons 1 and 2 before moving to Netflix, the hit series serves as a sequel to The Karate Kid, set within the same universe, 34 years after the events of the original film. Featuring the return of Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, who reprise their roles from the 1984 classic that kickstarted The Karate Kid franchise, the show follows the now middle-aged Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. The pair find themselves martial-arts rivals yet again when Johnny reopens the infamous Cobra Kai dojo in an attempt to recapture his past, exploring the Miyagi-Verse narrative through his perspective. Cobra Kai also stars Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Marideuña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, and Peyton List.

Throughout Cobra Kai seasons 1 to 4, the series been a proven success, maintaining high viewership and gaining critical acclaim. Prior to the release of Cobra Kai season 3, one that would go on to earn an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series, Netflix renewed the widely popular show for a season 4, which released on December 31, 2o21. Cobra Kai's fight scenes have been a source of particular praise from both fans and critics, with the series becoming well-known for some of its more intense and memorable showdowns that advance its story, as well as provide viewers with a fun display of skill and physicality. Season 4 includes more than its share of fights, as well as All-Valley Tournament battles that have had fans buzzing since its came out.

In a new behind-the-scenes video shared on the Cobra Kai twitter account, the show's cast is seen filming their fight scenes as they discuss the amount of work involved with their stunts. Macchio explains that they all take pride in being able to perform the stunts themselves, while Zabka adds that throughout the course of the series, he has seen the young stars grow into real martial artists, reflecting his own experience on The Karate Kid. Cobra Kai's All-Valley Tournament was highly anticipated in season 4, serving as a showcase for the stunt training that the young actors underwent, and its results generated a lot discussion among fans of the series.
