Cobra Kai fans have the chance to take on karate themselves with developer Gamaga and publisher Boss Team Games' brand new mobile game, Cobra Kai: Card Fighter. This free-to-play title based on the hit Netflix series will see players choose to follow the path of either Cobra Kai or Miyagi-Do Karate and train fighters for the All-Valley Championship. Pre-registration for the app is open now.

According to the Cobra Kai game website, Cobra Kai: Card Fighter will use special in-game cards featuring karate moves, special attacks, and combinations. Gameplay will involve "a unique combination of fighting action and strategy." In terms of the Story Mode, Cobra Kai: Card Fighter is said to follow the Netflix show's narrative, even including a few scenes from Cobra Kai. The release teases some of the series' characters, so fans can only hope to take control of Miguel, Samantha, Robby, Daniel, Johnny, and more. There's also Tournament Mode, which lets friends play together online in PvP multiplayer matches. Fans can head to the site to pre-register for the Android and iOS app ahead of the official release on March 19th. More content will be available post-launch, including more characters and cards.

Cobra Kai is based on the original 1980s Karate Kid film series and picks up the story from Johnny Lawrence's perspective.
