The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo was witness to a mini Clueless reunion this weekend. Like most of the bigger conventions in the entertainment world, C2E2 brings together a variety of guests from the comic, gaming, and movie industries to host panels and interact with fans. Among these year’s panels was one that appealed to 1990s nostalgia: Clueless.

Amy Heckerling’s now classic coming-of-age comedy Clueless followed Cher (Alicia Silverstone), a “Valley Girl type” at the top of the social pyramid, who along with her best friend Dione (Stacey Dash) gives the new girl at school, Tai (Brittany Murphy), a full makeover. What Cher wasn’t counting on was that this good deed was going to bring some changes to her social and personal lives. Although the film was followed by a spinoff TV series, fans haven’t had the chance to see part of the original cast together since - until now.

Four Clueless cast members took part in a reunion panel at C2E2 this weekend: Alicia Silverstone, Breckin Meyer (Travis, the stoner, skater guy), Donald Faison (Murray, Dionne’s boyfriend), and Paul Rudd (Josh, Cher’s former stepbrother). Clueless fans that weren’t able to attend the convention won’t have to worry, as Faison immortalized the reunion with a photo on his Instagram account.

Out of these cast-members, only Faison appeared in the TV series, also titled Clueless, reprising his role as Murray. Silverstone was replaced with Rachel Blanchard, Rudd with David Lascher (although the character of Josh only appeared in the first three seasons), and Meyer’s character was cut out of the series. However, both Rudd and Meyer guest appeared in one episode each: Rudd as a character named Sonny, and Meyer as Harrison.

Two decades have passed and they've all stayed active in the entertainment business. Alicia Silverstone has appeared in a number of films, including Batman & Robin, The Art of Getting By, and most recently the horror film The Lodge. Breckin Meyer has appeared in films like Garfield: The Movie and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, but has mostly stuck with voice work, much of it for Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken.

Donald Faison’s post-Clueless credits include Remember the Titans, Uptown Girls, and the comedy-drama series Scrubs. He’s currently part of the voice cast of Star Wars Resistance. As for Paul Rudd, he's appeared in numerous comedies such as I Love You, Man and This Is The End, and is currently part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Scott Lang aka Ant-Man. It’s always a good feeling seeing part of the cast of one of one's favorite films reunited, even if briefly. With a Clueless remake now in development, it’s unclear if any of the original cast members will return (either as part of the cast or as a fun cameo), but until then, fans can rejoice with seeing Cher, Travis, Murray, and Josh together again, 24 years later.
