Star Wars: The Clone Wars favorite Bo-Katan Kryze might appear in the spin-off series The Bad Batch. Voiced by Katee Sackhoff, Bo-Katan made her Star Wars debut in the animated series The Clone Wars, appearing in several episodes over the course of its run. Bo-Katan later appeared in Star Wars Rebels, and recently she made her live-action debut in The Mandalorian, Disney+'s first live-action Star Wars series. Sackhoff is once again portraying the character for The Mandalorian, and though she has only appeared in one episode so far, fans expect her to return at some point down the line. Already, her appearance has been praised by audiences.

Fans of The Clone Wars were thrilled when Disney+ announced its intention to bring the show back for a seventh and final season, something viewers were deprived of years ago. The Clone Wars aired its last season earlier this year, bringing the story to a close as it collided with the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. Not long after it ended, however, it was announced that The Clone Wars would get its own spin-off in 2021. Titled Star Wars: The Bad Batch, this new animated series will center on a team of defective clones during the "Dark Times" who all possess incredible individual abilities.

Little is known about The Bad Batch currently, but a surprise character might have been revealed. According to Cinelinx, sources have revealed Bo-Katan will appear in The Bad Batch. This will see her in between the events of The Clone Wars and Rebels, meaning she has participated in the Siege of Mandalore already, but hasn't received the Darksaber. It was not said whether Sackhoff would once again voice her, but it seems likely that she will.

Of course, until Lucasfilm confirms this themselves, it's best to take this with a grain of salt. However, it would make sense for Bo-Katan to be involved with The Bad Batch. Not only has she appeared in the previous Star Wars animated shows, her appearance on The Mandalorian has led to a new surge of popularity for the character. Lucasfilm would be smart to capitalize on that. Additionally, the animated shows provide an excellent opportunity to dig deeper into certain characters' stories, just as they did with Darth Maul. Bo-Katan fits the bill of someone who could easily get more development and adventures.

The stretch of time between The Clone Wars and Rebels hasn't been touched on for Bo-Katan, and seeing as The Mandalorian is set years after both of those, it's certain the only way to dive into that part of Bo-Katan's life is through The Bad Batch. Again, it's not certain that she will have a hand in that spin-off show, but it's not outside the realm of possibility. Star Wars fans will have to wait and see what The Bad Batch has in store for them. With a spring 2021 start in mind, perhaps more information will be revealed soon.
