Warning! Spoilers for Strange #5 by Marvel Comics
Two of Marvel's most unique heroes are about to make an unlikely team-up, as Moon Knight and Clea Strange will work together in an upcoming issue of the new Sorcerer Supreme's ongoing series. In a new reveal at Strange #5 by Marvel Comics, writer Jed MacKay revealed Clea and Moon Knight are set to work together to solve a big mystery teased over a year ago, as the more violent-minded heroes will do what the Avengers can't while taking on new villains.
Writer Jed MacKay is currently tackling Moon Knight and Strange for Marvel Comics and is planning to have the two series collide in an upcoming crossover between the two characters. In Moon Knight by MacKay and Alessandro Cappuccio, the titular hero has run his Midnight Mission while fighting to keep the streets clean as numerous supernatural threats have posed significant challenges - including the arrival of his opposite and worshipper of Khonshu, Hunter's Moon. Meanwhile, Clea Strange has become Marvel's new Sorcerer Supreme in Strange by MacKay and Marcelo Ferreira after the death of Stephen Strange. The ruler of the Dark Dimension has taken on her new heroic duties as she deals with a new villain, the Harvestman.
Moon Knight and Strange writer Jed MacKay took to Twitter to share the exciting crossover between the two heroes. He mentioned that Clea Strange's first heroic team-up as Sorcerer Supreme will put her directly into the path of Moon Knight. Both heroes will attempt to solve the mystery teased in a one-page preview from last year. Given their bloodier nature, Clea and Moon Knight will do what the Avengers can't and use their specifically violent methods and tactics to take on some new villains. The solicit for Strange #5 by Marvel Comics features Clea facing off against several reanimated dead heroes and villains. The new Sorcerer Supreme will fight alongside the Harvestman to ensure the dead heroes are put down for good. However, Clea will be forced to confront Doctor Strange, one of the reanimated heroes. It will be fascinating to see how Moon Knight connects to the story - as issue four teases the arrival of his dark opposite, Shadow Knight. Check out the solicit below.
