For the third year running Disney+ is hosting its Hallowstream event, bringing you exciting and spooky new content to indulge yourself with this Halloween. This year, in addition to some brand-new Halloween movies, Disney+ is adding some creepy classics to get you in the mood for Halloween, letting you carry on some of the Halloween traditions with additions like the original Halloweentown, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Hocus Pocus.
These cult classics are sure to get the whole family spooked out and ready for Halloween. Make sure you get the decorations up, costumes on, and treats at the ready for when you sit down to enjoy these Halloween movies!
6 Hocus Pocus
After 300 years, a trio of witches is back to cause havoc in the town of Salem yet again, seeking revenge all because a young teenage boy named Max lights a cursed Candle of Black Flame. It's down to Max, his little sister, and his new crush Allison to stop the witches and save the town from the evil witches. The film delivers plenty of laughs, spooks and scares throughout and is a great Halloween classic to watch with the entire family!
5 The Nightmare Before Christmas
A staple of any Halloween, or Christmas, watch-a-thon with the whole family. In this classic, every holiday has its own unique land. Wanting some change, and some excitement and adventure Jack Skillington, from Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town and becomes instantly enthralled and enchanted by what he finds there. Things quickly take a turn as Jack decides to kidnap Santa and declares that Halloween Town will be responsible for Christmas this year, and it's up to Sally, Jacks ragdoll lover, to get everything back on track and make Christmas happen.

4 Halloweentown
Marnie and her younger siblings discover that their Grandma, Aggie, has magical powers and has been keeping them a secret from them all. They decide to follow her back to her hometown of Halloweentown only to discover that she lives among other witches, goblins, and vampires who are all leading seemingly normal lives. On her 13th Birthday Marnie learns that she too is a witch, but she also learns that dark forces are trying to take over Halloweentown and so sets out on an adventure to try and save the town.

3 Twitches
If you're looking for laughs and witches then Twitches has you covered. Twin sister superstars Alex and Camryn discover that when they combine their powers they double in strength, this sets them off on a wild adventure to vanquish the Darkness. They discover that they were not born on earth, but were instead born in the magical dimension of Coventry. This is a great family movie with lots of twists and turns and delivers a lighter side to Halloween.
2 The Haunted Mansion
If you're looking for hilarious laughs to fill your Halloween this year then The Haunted Mansion is definitely a top contender for a must-watch. Starring Eddie Murphy as a real estate agent, Jim Evers, looking to make some big money, this movie reveals some truths and lies about his family that truly shock him. The family visits a mansion that Jim is trying to sell as his first big sale only to discover that it is occupied and haunted by 999 Ghosts all with their own stories to tell. Teaming up with the supernatural psychic Madame Leota they set out to try and rid the mansion of its curse and release the spirits so that they can go off to heaven.

Accidentally releasing a monster into the world has got to be up there as one of the biggest accidents possible, right? That's exactly what teenager Skylar discovers in this family-friendly comedy. After stumbling into her parent's basement and accidentally releasing a monster from a secret containment chamber, Skylar realizes that her parents are monster hunters and are in imminent danger because of her mistake. Join her and her techno friends as they set out to recapture the monster and save her parents.
