We got a look at the first teaser trailer for Louis Leterrier's (The Incredible Hulk) remake of Clash of The Titans, which trades Ray Harryhausen's legendary stop-motion effects for modern day (very expensive) CGI. The film already had me at the cast, which includes rising star Sam Worthington, Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson and Danny Huston, but the first trailer made it look all sorts of bad ass.
Now we have the second trailer for Clash of The Titans, which has just appeared online. It's slower paced than the first trailer, at least to begin with, before culminating in the reveal of one huge creatures that had my jaw on the floor in amazement (the effects look fantastic, but the sheer size of the creature got me :) ).
The second trailer reveals a lot more of the story than the first trailer, giving us a bit more to go on than just action (although I'm sure action will be the highlight of the actual movie).
Anyway, I won't keep you in suspense much longer - here's the second Clash of The Titans trailer (YouTube for now until an HD version surfaces). Enjoy:

Wow, they sure do know how to bring some imaginative creatures to life with these CGI effects, don't they? In this case it's the mythological creature, the Kraken.
Apart from The Kraken (I'm still in awe from seeing that...), other f/x highlights were Medusa's snake hair, as well as the legendary giant scorpions (which we got a look at in a set pic released this summer). Worthington looks great in the role of Perseus (this guy is really making a career for himself what with Terminator Salvation, Avatar and now this), and Neeson and Fiennes look great as Zeus and Hades. It goes without saying the effects look damn good, and the set designs are pretty fantastic, too. I was excited for this film before, but this trailer has bumped it up significantly on my most anticipated list for 2010.
What do you make of the second trailer for Clash of The Titans? Impressed by the visual effects? How 'bout that gargantuan creature at the end?
In case you missed them, take a look at the two awesome new posters for Titans which appeared online just recently.
Clash of The Titans hits theaters on March 26th, 2010.
