Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Clark Gregg and his family were among those who were evacuated from their homes in light of the Getty fire in Los Angeles. The actor is mostly known for his role as Phil Coulson - the connecting link among all Phase 1 films of the MCU. Following his fake death in Joss Whedon's The Avengers in 2012, he has regularly appeared in ABC's pioneering Marvel TV series.

The Getty fire in the west side of Los Angeles broke out shortly after 1:30 am along the 405 Freeway near the Getty Center. It has then creeped to the south and west, effectively burning more than 600 acres of land. This resulted in people fleeing their homes, including Gregg. But unlike some who decided on themselves to leave, the actor and his family had to be woken up to be informed of what was happening.

Taking it to his official Twitter account, Gregg told his followers that he, alongside his family and pet dogs were safely evacuated from their home and is now safely settling in a hotel. He also recalled how they were "awakened and evacuated by the amazing alert system from #lafd [Los Angeles Fire Department]." Fans quickly sent an outpour of love and support for the actor during this time. Meanwhile, his Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. co-star Gabriel Luna who played Ghost Rider in the TV series also expressed sigh of relief upon finding out about Gregg's situation, adding that he's praying for "everyone in the path of the fire." Check out the tweets below:

While it doesn't seem like Luna is directly affected by the Getty fire like Gregg is, he's updated about the situation because the worldwide premiere of his latest film, Tim Miller's Terminator: Dark Fate was canceled because of the situation. The events was set to take place at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. On top of that, his movie co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger and his family had to flee their home in the middle of the night which is on the path of the fire. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, about 10,000 structures has been place under mandatory evacuation orders bordered by Mullohand Drive on the north, Sunset Blvd on the south and Temescal Canyon Rd. on the west.

Gregg didn't reveal any more specifics about his current situation and there's update from his yet after his initial tweet. Nevertheless, it does seem like he and his brood is doing okay. As Los Angeles mayor, Eric Garcetti advised, people shouldn't fight with officers when asked to evacuate their homes in light of the continued Getty fire. The LAFD and all their firefighters are relentlessly working to get the fire in control as soon as possible.
