American actress Clare Kramer has taken on several television and film roles ever since she she portrayed the big bad Glory in Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 5. Glory, also known as Glorificus, is a god from a hell dimension, and was the main antagonist in Buffy from 2000-2002. The character had an obsession with misery and destruction, leading to her fellow gods banishing her to Earth, where she eventually took on the form of a woman. Later in Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 5, Glory kidnaps Buffy's younger sister, and Buffy goes after her—sacrificing herself in the process. Season 5, episode 22, "The Gift", was meant to end the series, meaning Glorificus would have been the show's final Big Bad, adding an additional level of importance to the role.

While Kramer's 13-episode arc on the hit supernatural drama series is certainly a career highlight, before her days as a Big Bad, she had a few movies under her belt. In 1997, Kramer had a small part in In & Out, and in 2000, she portrayed Liza in Ropewalk. Her true break came in 2000 when she played Courtney in Bring It OnIn terms of television, before Kramer joined the Buffy cast, she appeared in the television films Vig in 1998 and Doge's City in 1999. She also played Casey Shaw in the series Outreach in 1999.
