A new episode of Apple TV+'s new mystery series City on Fire releases this Friday, and Screen Rant is pleased to present an exclusive clip. Hailing from the creators of The O.C. and Gossip Girl, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, the new show centers on the shooting of NYU student Samantha Yeung (Chase Sui Wonders, Bodies Bodies Bodies) and the mystery of who pulled the trigger.

Her best friend Charlie (Wyatt Oleff, IT) will stop at nothing to find the truth, even if it means getting involved with a ban that moonlights as vigilante arsonists. The list of suspects in City on Fire has already begun piling up as the episodes progress, and one of the many shady figures in Samantha's life is Keith (played by Ashley Zukerman). Zukerman is best known for his role as Nate Sofrelli in HBO's Succession, and here he plays a lonely man whose affair with Sam ended his marriage.

In Screen Rant's exclusive clip from City on Fire episode 5, titled "Brass Tactics," Keith is being questioned by the police. He is a prime suspect for the audience and the cops given his affair with Samantha, the fact that he believed she wrote the note that made his wife (played by Jemima Kirke) leave him, and his shady dealings with the band Ex Post Facto. He insists that he was home alone when Sam was shot, but when he is asked explicitly about owning a gun — which he absolutely does — he balks.

Luckily, his wealth and status get him off for now, with the police captain coming in to escort him away from the uncomfortable situation. But once Chase gets Samantha's photos developed, he will either uncover more incriminating evidence against Keith or find someone else to add to the suspect list. One thing is for sure, however: Sam had plenty of secrets, and no one around her is entirely innocent.
