When The Circle made its debut on Netflix on January 1, 2020, viewers were introduced to a reality show like no other, and we've gathered information about what show alum Alex Lake is doing now. On The Circle, the contestants don't meet each other face to face. They live in their own individual apartments, and they can play at catfishing if they want to. The first season saw three contestants play as complete catfish, including Seaburn "Rebecca" Williams, who now promotes his artistic side on Instagram. Some contestants played as themselves but lied about certain details. Alex Lake aka "Adam" from LA was a catfish whose days were numbered.
During episode four of the show, viewers were introduced to 32-year-old Alex Lake. He entered the game as an attractive catfish named Adam and claimed he was 27. Despite most other players catching on to his lies, Alex aka "Adam" made it all the way to episode nine. Then, he was blocked (or eliminated) from the game.
Since finishing in eighth place on the very first season of The Circle, Alex is still living in Los Angeles and did an FAQ about his time on the series. He shared information via his Instagram account. Alex seems to be happily married to his wife Gina, as photos of him and his wife are posted on his Instagram. Although The Circle fans (who are curious about the show's timeline and filming location) know that he is still married with two cats, the catfish from season one is still a bit of a mystery. He seems to be pretty active on social media but doesn't share much about life after the show. He has said that he's a proud member of the #catfishgang. What viewers do know is that he and his wife shared their first wedding anniversary in June of 2020. Gina is really into knitting and quilting. She's crafty and creative. When The Circle first premiered, it instantly became a fan-favorite, getting picked up for a second and third season after the first one ended its run. Currently, The Circle is airing its second season, with episodes dropping every Wednesday. The finale is expected to drop on Wednesday, May 5. For now, viewers will have to be content with watching the first two seasons. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is unknown if the third season was able to film. If viewers need a binge, they can catch the full first season and current season two episodes on Netflix.
