The first episode of SyFy's Chucky didn't seem to feature Jennifer Tilly's Tiffany, but here's where to spot her hidden cameo in "Death by Misadventure." Don Mancini is the creator of the Child's Play franchise, and outside of the 2019 remake of the original, has had a major creative hand in every Chucky outing. This might be one reason it's one of the most consistent horror franchises, because, unlike other series that hand sequels off to a new creative team for every outing, Mancini was always there to guide them.

Mancini has also been directing the movies since 2004's Seed Of Chucky, all the way to the most recent entry Cult Of Chucky. That particular entry broke with the formula by actually having Chucky win for once, which leads into Syfy's new Chucky TV series. The basic setup sees a lonely, bullied teenage boy named Jake pick up an old "Good Guy" doll at a yard sale, only to quickly realize it's possessed by the spirit of deceased serial killer Charles Lee Ray, AKA Chucky. The two form an unusual bond while figures from Chucky's past return to put an end to him once and for all.

Syfy's Chucky TV series will also feature a lot of returning cast from previous movies, including Fiona Dourif as Nica and Alex Vincent as Andy. While Vincent made a brief vocal cameo in Chucky episode 1 "Death by Misadventure," none of the other OG characters seemed to appear. That's not the case with Jennifer Tilly's Tiffany, because eagle-eyed Child's Play movie fans can briefly spot her during the opening scene where Jake finds the Chucky doll on sale. A woman in a red coat passes the table where Chucky is on display, with this mystery lady being Tiffany in disguise.

Those who are up to date with their Chucky lore will recall that Tiffany was the ex-lover of Charles Lee Ray, and she was introduced in 1998's Bride Of Chucky played by Tilly. The actor has returned for every entry since, and while Tilly's exact role in the story has yet to be revealed, the show will no doubt explain what she was doing at the yard sale in a later episode.

This Jennifer Tilly Chucky easter egg is extremely easy to miss on first viewing, but just like Andy being Jake's mystery caller later in the episode, this speaks to the detail being layered into the series. In addition to the return of many fan favorites, the series will also deal with the backstory and origin of Chucky himself, and what led him to become a killer in the first place. Just how Jake ties into his evil schemes has yet to be explained.
