Jake Wheeler will have a tough time defeating Chucky but may gain an unlikely ally in Chucky's son Glen. Lots of horror franchises have made the jump to TV over the years, but few have done it as seamlessly as Chucky. The show picks up after the events of Cult of Chucky, and while what happened in the interim has yet to be revealed, it's confirmed that several more Child's Play movie characters are soon to enter the story.

Chucky's old nemesis Andy Barclay - who made a brief appearance in episode 1 - is headed back into the fight against his "friend to the end", presumably with his twin sister Kyle by his side. On the side of evil, Chucky's sadistic bride Tiffany - still inhabiting the body of actress Jennifer Tilly - is on her way back into the picture, as is Nica Pierce, who's still possessed by Chucky's voodoo spell that allows the killer doll to split his soul over multiple host bodies.

It remains to be seen how all these figures from Chucky's past will figure into his current conflict with Jake, Lexy, and Devon, but at least both the protagonist and antagonist will have assistance. One character - or perhaps more accurately, two? - not yet confirmed to appear on the Chucky show is Chucky's child Glen/Glenda. Born of an unholy union between Chucky and Tiffany as dolls, Glen/Glenda was gender-confused for a long time, seemingly existing as two souls within one body. Those souls were eventually separated into the bodies of two human children given birth to by Jennifer Tilly, but haven't been seen since Seed of Chucky. It's likely that will change with Glen finding an unlikely pal in Jake.

The Chucky TV Show Already Referenced Chucky's Children

Seed of Chucky Glen Tiffany

Since it's a direct follow-up to the movies, and brings back Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky, most fans went in expecting the Chucky TV show to feature plenty of callbacks and references to past events and characters. However, that didn't necessarily extend to Glen/Glenda, as Chucky's offspring hadn't even been mentioned onscreen by creator Don Mancini since the end of Seed of Chucky. That's what made it all the more surprising when the evil doll Chucky mentioned to Jake that he had a gender-fluid child, and told Jake he was okay with that particular fact.

Of course, the strange thing about Chucky expressing that sentiment is that when Glen and Glenda were last seen, Chucky's severed arm was proceeding to attack his son for attempting to kill him. While the Glenda half of the duo became just as psychotic and violent as her dad, Chucky and Glen were by no means on good terms when the Universal-rejected Seed of Chucky ended. It's certainly possible that they mended fences in the years since, but doesn't seem likely, as Chucky has shown himself to be almost incapable of true change, or forgiving those who cross him. Then again, he did get Tiffany back in the fold between Seed and Curse of Chucky, so anything's possible.

Like Jake, Chucky's Son Glen Isn't A Killer

Zackary Arthur as Jake Wheeler in Chucky Episode 3

Despite Chucky spending the first several episodes of his eponymous show trying hard to make Jake into a killer, by episode 4 it's clear he's failed, and Jake turns down a chance to let his nemesis Lexy drop to her death from her upstairs balcony. Even after all the horrible things she did to him, Jake just didn't have it in him to take her life. That certainly didn't please the Chucky doll, and now it would appear Jake and Chucky are headed to war. Considering Chucky's kind words about his offspring earlier in the season, one might expect they would align with him against Jake, but there's a fly in that proverbial ointment.

Once the Glen and Glenda halves of Chucky's child were separated into the bodies of twin humans, it quickly became apparent that Glenda would do her daddy proud, while Glen remained a kind, caring person. Glen never had any interest in killing as a doll, no matter how hard Chucky pushed him toward that route. The only deaths he was even involved in happened in spite of his intentions, such as Seed of Chucky's legally dubious Britney Spears character. Glen may love his dad, they may even have an uneasy family dynamic going on now, but there's no way he'll be willing to go along with Chucky's plans to murder Jake, Lexy, Devon, and more. If Chucky pushes again, that could reform the rift between them, and push Glen toward helping Jake. Additionally, Chucky is both a psychopath and a liar, so it's quite possible he and Glen never patched things up.

Theory: Glen Will Help Jake, While Glenda Helps Chucky

Glen and Glenda in Seed of Chucky

With Glen and Glenda now adults, this has likely served to further solidify their personalities, with Glenda having probably become a prolific serial killer in her own right, and Glen probably doing his best to live a normal life away from all the bloodshed. If they get drawn into the conflict between Jake (played by Zackary Arthur) and Chucky somehow - and the fact that they were suddenly brought up again suggests their eventual arrival onscreen - the logical path is for Glen to join the team against killing, and Glenda to join Chucky's murderer's row.

Another wildcard in this mix though could be Tiffany. As Glen's mom, she's never shown him anything but love and stood up to Chucky when Glen turned out to not be what Chucky wanted. While Tiffany has no issue with killing and loves Chucky and Glenda, she also loves Glen, and will probably be hard-pressed to side against him. That could prove to be another factor in Glen's ability to help Jake beat Chucky, as if Glen stands between Tiffany and Jake, it's hard to imagine her actually harming him. Glenda though, might just be unstable enough to target her other half. Truly, the Chucky TV show could end up a real family feud, especially if theories about Jake's cousin Junior becoming Chucky's new protege end up holding true.
