Chrisley Knows Best star Julie Chrisley believes there is a purpose to her and her husband, Todd Chrisley, going to jail. Todd and Julie are about to begin serving their prison sentences. In June, Todd and Julie were both found guilty of tax evasion and bank fraud, and in November, they were both given prison sentences. Todd will serve 12 years in prison, while Julie received a seven-year sentence.

Less than a month before she and her husband, Todd, are expected to report to prison, 49-year-old Julie gave insight into where their hearts and minds are during a conversation with her husband in a recent episode of their family's podcast, Chrisley Confessions. Julie revealed during the conversation that she has been reading and praying with her prayer partner, and she firmly believes that there is a purpose for the journey that they are about to take. "I have been reading and praying and praying with my prayer partner,” she said. She recalled a particular conversation with her prayer partner and cited a quote from the Bible, which she had to ponder and relate to her journey. According to her, Mary, the mother of Jesus, was only fully accomplished when the Messiah was born. In the same way, she believes her and Todd's legal issue is a journey that will lead them to a place where they will be fully accomplished.
