Raise your hand if you agree - Chrishell Stause’s lovey dovey comments about her (now ex!) husband Justin Hartley on season 2 of Selling Sunset makes us say “oh no, honey.” Every. Single. Time.

Chrishell Stause makes our hearts hurt every time she brings up her marriage with Justin Hartley on Selling Sunset’s new season. The two are currently going through a divorce, but since the show was filmed before the split, Chrishell is often commenting and doting on her then husband, This Is Us star and heartthrob, (duh!) Justin Hartley. Especially, because so much of the new season revolves around Mary Fitzgerald planning her big day and Christine Quinn’s recent engagement. Here’s why Chrishell’s comments are so painful for us to watch.

Season 2 of Netflix’s hottest reality TV obsession, Selling Sunset is filled with binge-worthy drama. However, since the show is taped ahead of time, we found ourselves cringing for poor, sweet Chrishell whenever she brought up her marriage with Justin. Throughout the season, she relates a lot of her wedding day to Mary and Christine’s wedding planning woes. There’s even a time when a flashback photo of Chrishell and Justin from their wedding day surfaces as she is lovingly reflecting on her big day (our little hearts hurt just thinking about that). Chrishell was blindsided last November when Justin filed for divorce and unfortunately it shows throughout the new season. In almost every episode she seems like their relationship is foolproof, but we guess we never know what goes on behind closed doors, or, you know, when the cameras stop filming.

Finally, in the very last episode of the new season and after Mary and Romain’s gorgeous wedding, fans get to see a glimpse of what Chrishell has been going through amidst her split from Hartley. Selling Sunset shocked fans with a sneak peek of season 3, which airs this August, and the new season looks like Chrishell’s divorce will be a driving force when it comes to the drama and plot line of the series.

So, for those who are fans of Chrishell and are rooting for the sweet Kentucky native to come out on top after her divorce, tune in August 7 on Netflix to see how the starlet copes with the split.
