Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause recently opened up about her potential departure from the Netflix reality series after her divorce from Justin Hartley. Making her way out of poverty and into the limelight, Chrishell has managed to create a successful career for herself, whether it be her real estate career or her newfound fame from Selling Sunset and Dancing With The Stars. Now one of the most liked agents at the Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles, Chrishell has gone from the meek new girl at the office to a fierce real estate competitor.

While Chrishell has been dedicated to her career and learning the ropes of being a high-profile real estate agent, she has had a number of dramatic dealings with romance over the course of her fame. From a dramatic split with her ex-husband to parting ways with Jason Oppenheim, Chrishell hasn't exactly had the most success when it comes to love. Still focused on the future and new opportunities, both inside and outside of the office, Chrishell hasn't let the tragedy of the past year keep her from moving forward.

As shared by E!, Chrishell wrote in her memoir Under Construction that she "contemplated quitting" Selling Sunset in fear of negative publicity involving her divorce. The reality star expressed that she worried that "the producers" would "exploit [her] pain" to help create more popularity for the Netflix series, yet she was proven wrong as the series was filmed. After a number of heartbreaking events surrounding her life at the time, Chrishell made the difficult decision to remain on Selling Sunset, claiming "[she] couldn't lose [her] job" alongside divorce, a breakup with Keo Motsepe, and plenty of drama at the office. While her divorce was only a small part of her story, Chrishell appears content in her decision to keep working with Netflix and the real estate group, despite the difficulties that come with the roles. Resolute in her relationships and career, Chrishell appears unphased by her past pain, content taking back control of her life.

Chrishell Stause looking surprised on Selling Sunset

Chrishell started off at the Oppenheim Group as timid and inexperienced but has now proven to be quite the opposite as the series moves on towards its fifth season. Dedicated to authenticity and explaining her point of view "on [her] own terms," Chrishell has managed to remain on the series without costing herself her mental health or peace of mind. As Selling Sunset prepares for two more seasons, fans can expect plenty of frank, honest conversations with Chrishell, alongside a number of fun life updates as she succeeds at the office alongside her closest friends (and rivals).

Chrishell may be moving on to more positive beginnings, but Selling Sunset is far from finding the same resolve. Full of some of the most dramatic moments in the series' history, Selling Sunset is facing plenty of division and arguments amongst the cast, both on and off screen. While Selling Sunset season 4 ended without the cast making amends for a number of toxic moments, fans are left without closure, season 5 hopefully helping to diffuse some of the tension on air. While Chrishell has finally escaped some of the most heated moments, Christine Quinn and Emma Hernan have yet to defuse their disagreements, with no reconciliation in sight. As Selling Sunset season 5 approaches, fans can only hope that Chrishell's renewed attitude will rub off on her impressionable co-workers.
