Cillian Murphy, Marion Cotillard and Ellen Page are in talks to join Leonardo DiCaprio in Christopher Nolan's forthcoming science fiction epic, Inception.
The film is described as a "contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind." What that means is anybody's guess but with Nolan involved I can only imagine that it will be intriguing and not your usual simplified Hollywood product.
Irish man Murphy was one of Nolan's final choices for the role of Batman and Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins, before the role went to Christian Bale. However, Nolan was so impressed by Murphy that he cast him as The Scarecrow - a role that he returned to in last summer's The Dark Knight.
Cotillard will next be seen opposite Bale and Johnny Depp in Michael Mann's John Dillinger thriller, Public Enemies. Ellen Paige hit the big time last year following the massive Oscar and box office success of Juno.
It is believed that Nolan will direct Inception and then go on to direct the third film in the rebooted Batman franchise, much like when he sandwiched The Prestige between his first two Caped Crusader adventures.
Screen Rant will have more details on Inception when we get them.
Inception starts shooting this summer for a release in 2010.
