As the movie Thor: Love and Thunder will be released soon, many fans are eager for the movie to arrive. This is especially fueled by the fact that this is Thor's fourth solo movie. This is a first not just for any Avengers, but for any character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In fact, even a founding member of the Avengers, Hawkeye, does not even have his own solo movie yet.

As of now, there has also been no official trailer released yet, so fans have hardly any clue what to expect in the next movie. From his Hollywood debut in Star Trek to the box office record-breaking Avengers: Endgame, Hemsworth has plenty of great movies in his filmography, so far, and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron: 3.1/5

Chris Hemsworth As Thor In Norm Cave Age Of Ultron

Avengers: Age of Ultron is the second Avengers movie and the lowest-rated among them by a long shot. Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as Thor, and together with the other five Avengers, they raid a Hydra facility that experimented on humans.

It is also where the Avengers first meet Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch. Despite starting as enemies, they eventually join forces as they battle against Ultron, who plans to eradicate humanity, the opposite of what its makers, Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, wanted. Despite being called by critics the "least favorite Avengers film," it was still able to gross $1.4 billion.

Bad Times At The El Royale: 3.5/5

Chris Hemsworth as Billy in Bad Times At The El Royale

Written by Drew Goddard, Bad Times at the El Royale is a neo-noir thriller film set in the late 1960s. The story revolves around seven characters who come to the El Royale, a hotel on the California–Nevada border, along with their dark personal secrets that eventually collide on a tragic night.

Chris Hemsworth plays the role of Billy Lee, the main antagonist of the film. Billy Lee is the ruthless and powerful leader of a vile cult of deadly killers who preys on innocent individuals and outcasts to convert to his purpose. The film has mixed reviews, with some calling it stylish and packed with solid performance, while others believing its third act fell short of the expected conclusion.

The Cabin In The Woods: 3.5/5

Chris Hemsworth in The Cabin in the Woods

The first film directed by Drew Goddard, The Cabin In The Woods is a mix of horror and comedy. Despite being delayed for two years owing to financial concerns, the film receive generally positive reviews, as critics applauded the film's narrative, tone, and performances.

In it, Hemsworth plays the role of the main character, Curt Vaughan, who drives his pals to his cousin's cabin and is assigned as "The Athlete," who is also a sociology major and football jock. Curt dies in the middle of the movie as he crashes his motorcycle into a force field while attempting to jump a ravine.

Doctor Strange: 3.5/5

Chris Hemsworth as Thor in Doctor Strange Mid-Credits Scene

Thor has a minimal appearance in Doctor Strange, as he only appears in a cameo in a mid-credits scene. His presence also does not affect the film's plot in any way. Thor meets up with Doctor Strange in New York City, where Doctor Strange offers Thor a cup of tea but changes it into beer.

Dr. Strange tells Thor to keep watch on a list of beings who could be a threat to their world, which includes Loki. He also revealed Odin's location to Thor. The rest of the conversation and event can be seen in Thor: Ragnarok.

Star Trek: 3.6/5

George Kirk aboard the Enterprise in Star Trek (2009)

Star Trek is Chris Hemsworth's first Hollywood movie. In it, he plays the role of George Kirk, the father of the movie's protagonist, James T. Kirk, and the husband of Winona Kirk. He is also the Starfleet Kelvin's first officer.

His appearance in the movie is brief, however. After having their ship attacked by the Romulan ship Narada, which is led by the time-traveling Nero, George ordered the ship's personnel to abandon the ship and sacrificed himself by colliding Kelvin with Narada, to ensure their safety.

The Avengers (2012): 3.7/5

Released in 2012, this movie sees the six founding members of The Avengers (Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Hulk, and Thor) forming a team in an effort to stop Loki's plan from obtaining the Tesseract and subjugating Earth.

The God Of Thunder briefly had a fight with Iron Man in their first meeting after the former tries to free Loki and convince him to stop his plans. Unfortunately, that did not work, and together with the Avengers, they have an all-out battle against Loki's forces in Midtown Manhattan.

Rush: 3.7/5

Chris Hemsworth in Rush

Set in the 1970s, Rush is a biographical sports film about the Hunt–Lauda rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauda, two F1 racers. In the film, Chris Hemsworth plays the role of James Hunt, a McLaren driver from the United Kingdom.

The story follows their vastly different personalities on and off the track, their loves, and the Japanese Grand Prix in the 1976 season in which both drivers were willing to risk racing in the rain to win the world championship despite the danger. It is highly rated as it showcases high accuracy about their rivalry, friendship, and individual trials they encountered.

Thor: Ragnarok: 3.9/5

Thor: Ragnarok is the third Thor film and the 17th in the MCU. Following Odin's death in Norway caused by his banishment by Loki and resulting in their sister Hela's release, Thor and Loki are again forced to join forces to defeat the Goddess Of Death.

As Hela proved to be too powerful for both of them (even managing to destroy Thor's Mjolnir), Thor reluctantly orders Loki to release Surtur to defeat Hela. At the cost of Asgard's destruction, thousands of refugees were saved. Just when things couldn't get worse, they were unfortunately met by Thanos' forces. The movie is highly praised mainly for its high-quality CGI and exciting turn of events.

Avengers: Endgame: 3.9/5

Chris Hemsworth as Thor in Avengers Endgame

Surprisingly, the final Avengers movie, Avengers: Endgame is not the highest rated by fans, despite managing to break box office records and having the largest cast of any Avengers or Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. In the movie, Thor ends up being a lot weaker as a result of depression and alcoholism, despite having his two strongest weapons.

Thanos has managed to destroy the six Infinity Stones following the Snap, which resulted in Thor beheading him in a fit of rage. With time traveling the only way to get the Stones back, Thor, accompanied by Rocket Racoon, ends up meeting his mother and regaining his Mojonir while trying to acquire the Reality Stone. According to critics, its emotional impact and the epic battle scenes are what sets it apart from other MCU movies

Avengers: Infinity War: 4.0/5

Chris Hemsworth as Thor in Avengers Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War is a significant start of the direct battle of the Avengers against Thanos' forces. After Loki, Heimdall, and several Asgardians were killed by Thanos, he was left to die in space, before meeting up with the Guardians of the Galaxy.

It is when Thor was able to acquire his new weapon, the Stormbreaker, with the help of the only surviving dwarf, Eitri. Thor's Stormbreaker was able to overpower Thanos despite the latter having the power of the six Infinity Stones. Unfortunately, Thanos was able to do the Snap and escape. By ending it with a cliffhanger, fans have become more eager to wait for its aftermath.
